Hi!

Just wanted to inform all you that I got the call that I was accepted to the program for this upcoming session! Very excited. I have several meetings this week such as the orientation and also setting up my background check, drug test, etc. I would love to connect with others who are planning to start this upcoming session.

Yes, my advisor told me that I would hear by Friday morning but I just got the call about an hour ago.

I’m so happy for you, I know you really wanted to start this semester.. so do I! 
 

my advisor told me the latest I would hear is no later than Monday so I’m just keeping my fingers crossed for good news! CONGRATS AGAIN!! Hopefully we can be classmates.

Cruz, did you hear anything yet?! I know how you were really looking forward to Monday!

Also, this week I meet virtually with Peter, who is a Student Ambassador (could be incorrect about that title), but basically what my advisor said is that he would be walking me through the rest of the financial aid process, drug tests, fingerprinting, etc. Then, the day after that I have to attend the virtual new student orientation. Are you guys also attending? I hope to get my schedule soon, just so I have an idea of what a typical week would look like for me. If you guys already have your schedule, what does your week look like? Also, do we have final confirmation on what the semester is going to be like? Virtual, hybrid, fully in person?

Hey, hope all is well! 
 

I called my advisor around 5pm yesterday because I was waiting all day for a phone call and I never received one. She said that my file was scheduled to be reviewed this Thursday, so I will find out by Friday morning a decision. I feel like this whole process has been dragged, but I’m hoping for the best news. And I hope if I’m accepted they don’t tell me I won’t be able to start till January because I would like to start ASAP! 
 

I keep getting an awards letter email and the amount keeps changing, is the same thing happening to you guys? 
 

how long is the drug test and finger print process?

Ugh that’s so frustrating that they keep you waiting! Is the awards letter your financial aid that you would be receiving?

Yes, I’m anxious to find out already. But I’m assuming they have a lot of applications they’re going thru so maybe they’re backed up. I’m pretty sure there are others in the same boat as me. But I just hope they’re still accepting for the fall semester.. 
 

And yes it’s a break down of fall and Spring.

Hope all is well! 

Just wanted to let all of you know that I got the call from my advisor this evening that I was accepted. Next Tuesday, is my meeting to go over my financial, background check, drug test and etc.  I am very ecstatic to be accepted and start this upcoming Fall! 

I wish everyone the best of luck, and cant wait to meet you guys!
