  1. Congratulations. Super excited for you. Hopefully we have a class together. ?
  2. Once accepted… for me it was going over financial aid … then background checks… fingerprinting… urine screening … Did the committee review your application ? Fingers crossed for you.
  3. Yup. I start classes on August 30th. I’m going through all the background checks, fingerprinting, and drug test. So many steps before the start of class. Also, now everyone is required to be vaccinated. ? just glad to finally be starting class. ?
  4. Definitely a nerve wrecking experience. My anxiety was totally off the charts. LOL. From what my advisor told me, the committee meets on Monday and Thursday and a response is then given by the next day or same day depending if they meet earlier. Mines was reviewed on a Thursday and I got the acceptance on a Friday. So excited for you. Good Luck. Let me know. Hopefully we can be classmates. :)
  5. Hi Taylor, As far as the HESI, I have no science background. I began this process in hopes of a new career. The sciences for me were very challenging. I studied from the review book and bought a HESI book from Barnes and Nobles that contain sample exams. The way I looked at it was … You only need a 73 or higher on the test. Once I had this in my head it took my anxiety away. Good luck on the exam. You’ll do good. Super Excited to have been accepted to Chamberlain Nursing for the Fall Term.
  6. That’s super exciting. CONGRATULATIONS. Yeah, hoping the same to become classmates. ?
  7. May I ask, when did you take your HESI exam? Yeah, I emailed my advisor last week on Friday and I got an email response yesterday that once the registrar reviews my transcript she will reach back out to me to go over the transcript/financial. It’s just so nerve wrecking to me to know that is the last step before my case gets reviewed by the committee. LOL Totally, best of luck to us. ?
  8. So, it’s been a crazy journey I feel. I completed the HESI on June 28th and passed. Now, I’m waiting to hear back from my advisor to discuss my official transcript and financial overview to determine how much the program will cost me. (I was told that the registrar needed to review my transcript and once they complete their review I would meet with my advisor). Besides that, everything has been completed. I was also told that once we review my transcript and financial aspect my application will then get passed to the committee. I just don’t understand the wait because one has nothing to do with the other. I need to know if I have been accepted to discuss the financial part of my tuition. Doing this beforehand defeats the purpose because why go through all this if I don’t get accepted. The waiting period feels so long because classes start next month. I thought the committee was there to determine my eligibility academically to attend their program. And OMG, fingers crossed. Praying that you get in.
  9. Hi. Hope all is well. Have you heard back from Chamberlain ? I’m still waiting …. This anticipation is driving me crazy haha.
