Hi everyone! I thought it might be helpful to create this since all posts about this campus are pretty old.

Congrats on your acceptance! 
I have another question for you guys. Do you guys have any credits in which you are transferring into the program? If so, do you know how much that shaves off the entire program length?

Hi!

I was able to transfer in 32 credits. I start Sept 2021 and my last session will be November 2023. I know the most you can cut the program length down to is 2 years and 2 months.

I completed all the documents required already, last week Tuesday I went on my interview. Yesterday made a week since my interview and Delany said that she would forward all of my documents over and it would take 48-72 hours for a response. So I’m assuming by Friday I should hear something? What was the procedure after you completed everything? How long did it take them for you to call you and let you know you were accepted? I keep waiting for my phone to ring LOL the anxiety is killing me!

Definitely a nerve wrecking experience. My anxiety was totally off the charts. LOL. 
 

From what my advisor told me, the committee meets on Monday and Thursday and a response is then given by the next day or same day depending if they meet earlier. Mines was reviewed on a Thursday and I got the acceptance on a Friday.

Thank you for replying back to me! See, my advisor didn’t even tell me what days they meet she just said 48-72 hours. But I just hope they call me tomorrow because my anxiety is thru the roof but I’m not too concerned because I know I meet the requirements and my interview went really well. Ugh, I find out before the weekend! Are you starting in September?

I start classes on August 30th.  I’m going through all the background checks, fingerprinting, and drug test. So many steps before the start of class. Also, now everyone is required to be vaccinated. ? just glad to finally be starting class. ?

I’m praying I get to start on the 30th as well, so I hope they call me by the end of the week. I’m happy for you, congrats! So you basically recently got accepted? 
 

yes my friend was telling me that everyone has to get vaccinated.. I’m not too happy about that but I’m just going to do whatever it takes!

Hi! 
I’m in the same boat as you. I have everything completed and submitted in. My advisor told me that my application is being reviewed by the committee today, and I will have my final decision by tomorrow morning. I’m extremely nervous. I feel like the whole application was a little drawn out though, like I can’t believe that if I get accepted that classes will start in two weeks basically. I’m really hoping for good news tomorrow. I just hope they don’t say like oh you’re accepted but can’t start until next session because I would really like to start ASAP.

 

For those who were accepted, what are the immediate steps after being accepted? I know a drug test needs to be complete and maybe a background check, but what else? Just hoping for good news and want to be prepared for the next step if everything goes well.

Hello! 
I agree, I feel like the whole process from the interview up until now was drawn out because all of my documents have been submitted from a week ago. And it’s like I’m in limbo and I have to keep calling and emailing my advisor to find out what’s going on. That’s another thing, I want to start in the fall semester and classes start in 2 weeks. I have a job so I still have to work around my job schedule with the background check, drug test and etc. which IDK how long that process takes as well as figuring out the financial part of school. But every time I talk to my advisor it’s like she’s telling me “I have time..” 

 

I would like to know the immediate steps after and how long does that process take? I know that there is way more steps before you can start your classes.. Hoping for good news for all of us! ??

Once accepted… for me it was going over financial aid … then background checks… fingerprinting… urine screening … 

 

Did the committee review your application ? Fingers crossed for you.

The committee has not reviewed my application, my advisor said Monday the latest.. not sure why it’s extending into next week but hopefully for a good cause!
