Chamberlain North Brunswick Fall 2021

Published

Hi everyone! I thought it might be helpful to create this since all posts about this campus are pretty old.

Anyone already accepted or planning to apply??

Hi. Hope all is well. Have you heard back from Chamberlain ? I’m still waiting ….  This anticipation is driving me crazy haha.

Hi there! I was beginning to think I was the only applicant haha. I met with the student support advisor yesterday and was told the committee is convening today, so I should expect to hear back tomorrow whether I am accepted! I will update you regardless of what happens!

What exactly have you been waiting for?

So, it’s been a crazy journey I feel. I completed the HESI on June 28th and passed. Now, I’m waiting to hear back from my advisor to discuss my official transcript and financial overview to determine how much the program will cost me. (I was told that the registrar needed to review my transcript and once they complete their review I would meet with my advisor). Besides that, everything has been completed. I was also told that once we review my transcript and financial aspect my application will then get passed to the committee.

I just don’t understand the wait because one has nothing to do with the other. I need to know if I have been accepted to discuss the financial part of my tuition. Doing this beforehand defeats the purpose because why go through all this if I don’t get accepted. The waiting period feels so long because classes start next month.

I thought the committee was there to determine my eligibility academically to attend their program.

And OMG, fingers crossed. Praying that you get in.

So there was also a delay with them getting back to me about meeting with the advisor to discuss my transfer credits and financial aid options. I emailed Bob a few times and also called and left a voicemail and he got back to me on Thursday or Friday of last week saying they were really busy prepping for the semester, and that's when he set me up for the appointment yesterday.

Honestly, the financial options discussion was kind of helpful because they give you a document with a breakdown of the total cost, how much federal aid you're eligible for (given you completed your FAFSA) and what the remaining cost to you would be. Then they discuss the options that are available to you to cover the remaining costs. It's nice to get an idea of your financial obligation beforehand even if we haven't been officially accepted.

It kind of seems that as long as you're academically eligible, there's a pretty good chance you'll be accepted?? It kind of sucks that there is such minimal info anywhere about this campus.

In your case though, I would suggest following up with admissions. Best of luck to both of us!!

May I ask, when did you take your HESI exam?

Yeah, I emailed my advisor last week on Friday and I got an email response yesterday that once the registrar reviews my transcript she will reach back out to me to go over the transcript/financial. It’s just so nerve wrecking to me to know that is the last step before my case gets reviewed by the committee. LOL

Totally, best of luck to us. ?

I took mine June 18! I think they're probably backed up with all of the applications. Bob did warn me that the application process would move slower the later you take your HESI. It's totally nerve racking to be in limbo!

Best of Luck today. :)

I was actually just about to give you an update! Bob called me yesterday evening because he said the committee met earlier than expected and I was accepted! Next steps are picking my schedule and completing background/drug testing.

Here’s hoping you hear something soon too & maybe we’ll be classmates!!

That’s super exciting. CONGRATULATIONS.

Yeah, hoping the same to become classmates. ?

Hi!

Its good to know they are still accepting applications for the august start. I’m hoping to be accepted and start this upcoming fall. I’m about done my application process. I take the HESI this upcoming Friday. I’m hoping it isn’t too hard. If anyone has any tips or information for beforehand let me know! I met with my advisor a couple weeks ago and went over my transcripts, financial aid, etc. The process hasn’t been too difficult. I really hope to be accepted!
