Chamberlain FNP 2015 (looking for previous & new students)

I am looking to start Chamberlain about July 2015. I am seeking students that are already in the course and want to provide some insight into the courses/advice.

Also looking for soon to be students to link up.

All the previous threads are from previous years so it's time to start a new thread.

Small world, I live in Canton and grew up in Canfield! I an in FNP school at Malone in Canton, Oh. Getting clinical sites is difficult but there are no MSN programs in the Youngstown/Warren area so you should have better luck than near me. We have Malone, Walsh, Akron, and Kent all within 30 minutes of each other.

Sorry everyone!

This is my first post on this site in a while as I have been busy with school and giving birth to my son! I am not in clinicals yet, I am in week 5 of pharm, and will start assessment July 6 and clinicals August 31. As far as the cons of the program, I really haven't had any of the issues that others have posted on the FB page. My instructors have been providing powerpoints and recorded lectures, youtube videos, etc in addition to assigned readings. Setting up your own clinical sites is stressful but you will encounter that problem at almost any college. I am happy with the program and glad I chose Chamberlain. As for the first graduating class, 2 have taken and passed boards so far. Let me know if I can help further!

Hello All. I am also starting the Chamberlain FNP program in September, very excited and nervous. Have been reading threads about pros and cons and I'm just excited to start the journey.

I'm from Augusta, GA. Looking into practicum sites now- I think that's what I'm most stressed out about.

I took (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for 500, and they made us take the first class alone. After the first class I doubled every session I could after that. Yes I am a part of the FB page
