I'm very excited as I just got my acceptance call! I was wondering if anyone else around here would be starting Oct 28th? I'd like to keep in touch to help each other out through this!

I've been a nurse for 8yrs and always knew I'd go back eventually....decided to pull the trigger a few weeks ago and apply. Now just need to get together some supplies and order my books! (going to buy a desk and make my little zen study area!)

good luck everyone!

I'm starting 7/7/14 I'm just concerned because iit is very expensive. The advisor just delivered a bad news that my tuition wouldn't get a discount even though my hospital is HCA verified in HCA website. but it's not HCA to CCN?? So I wanna apply to regular schools too but I hate to waste my time.

Apply to regular schools too. Education shouldn't be about what's fastest or cheapest. This is a huge investment, and taking the time to research and apply to good schools will be worth it in the long run.

I'm just looking for schools too - which are your top choices so far?

Hi all,

I just found out that my state finally got approved within the last 2 weeks and finally applied to the FNP program recently and got the acceptance call for 7/7/14. I got my RN-BSN at Chamberlain Online so I am very familiar with the type of work they expect; it sounds a lot like it is the exact same format for the MSN program. I just wanted to say thanks a lot to everyone who has contributed to this thread; it really DID ease a lot for us who are/plan to be starting this program.

I did apply to a dual degree FNP/AG-ACNP program, which is the same tuition and amount of time to complete the program as Chamberlain. Just waiting to hear back and then I will be making my decision. Granted, I am biased towards Chamberlain because the school has treated me SO WELL in the past. Maybe I'll be able to join up with you all in the 7/7/14 cohort!
