Anyone starting FNP program in chamberlain this May?
Hi SPJJMommy. I'm in the process in applying to Chamberlain College-FNP, are you residing from California? Just curious to see if there are anyone else from California going to CCN that's in the FNP program. Thanks.
Hi RJGRhere I am starting FNP program in chamberlain college this May. I am living in bay area California.
I am from bay area California. I am starting FNP program in Chamberlain college this May. I am so happy I found this thread. I am kind of nervous about finding clinical preceptor. Am I suppose to find clinical preceptor by myself?

My plan was to start in May. I'm from California but we recently just moved to Illinois (husband is military). I am still waiting for my IL RN license (endorsement). But if I don't received before May's class, then I might have to start in July. Are you excited about starting?

I will hopefully be starting in May too.... Excited but also nervous. I don't think I'll have much problems with patho and pharm and the core courses. I'm more worried about the beginning courses like research. I'm not much of an abstract person and I hate writing so I think the beginning courses will be harder for me.

in my third class at CCN :) I think the classes are good. I'm currently in Nursing Informatics....def not my fave class, but i'm learning new stuff (and revisiting a WHOLE lot of what you learned in undergrad, but never use in the real world I'm fumbling through NANDA/Nic/Noc right now for a small paper, so i feel as though I'm back in undergrad again ah well! I still have health care policy and EBP i think then its on to the big dogs....patho and pharm. I'm scared of them both bc they are only 8 weeks each. I have a friend that goes to Maryville...their classes are 8 weeks too, until you get to path and pharm, then they are both 16 week classes, taken together (ew!).
I hope patho/pharm is do-able in 8 weeks!

HI everyone, since you applied already to chamberlain, can you please tell me if it's accredited? if it's a good school? I'm planning on applying just doing more research about schools. For clinicals can i do it in my community where i live in? Is the degree acceptable in CA. I also have to contact the university and request some info, but figured i can ask people here and get the real deal, better than the business plan that they're gonna sell me.
