Anyone know anything about this place?

Specializes in CNA in Oncology.

Thank you. This information does help. I also saw the info you wrote on another post. Do you mind telling us your name and which campus you work at just to make sure everything is legitimate? I am really serious this school and I would hate to have wrong information. I would really appreciate it.

Sure thing! My name is Stephanie and I work at Chamberlain's National Management office in Downers Grove, IL. You can verify the accreditation information two different ways: 1. View the accreditation statement at http://www.chamberlain.edu/accreditation, or 2. Visit the CCNE website and search for Chamberlain College of Nursing in their listing of accredited programs. Best of luck to you in pursuing your BSN!

Hi, guys! Thanks all of you for useful info you share with. I'm going to apply to Chamberlain in Addison in the nearest future, however, currently I'm doing pre-reqs in the community college. My concern is, if I get accepted to Chamberlain, will I be able to take some courses over there along with the rest of my pre-reqs in the community college( I still have 6-7 pre-reqs I can take and transfer to Chamberlain afterwards)? Any info would be helpful!

Thank you!!!!

Did anyone take Human Anatomy and Physiology in Chamberlain? How was it? Being in a community college, I heard that these science classes are not easy to pass...

Thanks for the response in advance!!!!!

please, disregard post #314 as I did find the answer. Thank you.

Once you start at Chamberlain you are not allowed to transfer in any other credits u want to take during the year, but thats how all nursing programs are....

and I took my anatomy n science classes at my community college but I have a friend who did them at Chamberlain and it was not that easy--the class average was around an 82%.

I am a current student at Chamberlain and the nursing courses are no piece of cake, very time consuming and LOTS of work!

I just got into Chamberlain for the July 2011 start. I am so excited. For anybody that wants to compare, and get a good idea of what scores get in, I applied with a 3.02 GPA and scored a 92% on their entrance exam. Apply early, you will have a better chance of getting in.

I have just one question: Did you have an Admissions Interview with O.Rogers? If so, could you share your experience, please)

Thank you!!!!

Emma, don't stress about the interview portion. I had mine with Angela, but it is very basic, just goes over your past academic transcripts and shows you where you are in the program. You also go over the tuition and fees. It is not very important in the admissions process. I'd say if you have anything above a 2.85/4 and a score in the mid 80's or higher on the HESI you have a great shot, hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have more. :)

Thank you, cmay 1124 for your encouragement and info, which cleared everything out:thankya: Good luck over in Chamberlain!

Hi everyone! This is my first time on here. I just applied to Chamberlain in Addison today. I took the HESI and got a 90% on it. My college GPA is a 3.5. My adviser is Josh Ryan, and according to him I scored really well especially on all the sciences (mainly because I just took those in the past two semesters), but I don't know I am still nervous. I hope to get into the July session! Do you guys think that with my scores and GPA that that is possible?
