Anyone know anything about this place?

Hi littleone77,

If you don't mind me asking, who is your advisor? I'm waiting for a reply from my advisor. When did you complet your application?

Thank you in advance =)

Emma,

I'm actually finishing up my A&P III here next week. To tell you the truth, it can be a lot of hard work that you have to invest into the class. However, most of the teachers are pretty good about condensing the information down into what you need to know. As long as you put a decent amount of work into it, you will do fine. However, if you don't study (like quite a few of my classmates who are now further behind because they couldn't pass) you will not do as well as you'd hoped. An A in A&P is not hard to come by if you put a little work in.

i was just accepted at the phoenix campus for the july start. i have a 3.3 college gpa and scored an 87% on the hesi. i did very poor in chemistry and so-so in biology but did well on the other areas of the hesi.

Sorry it took me a while to respond! My adviser is Josh Ryan. I applied on March 8th and got a phone call on March 16th telling me I was accepted. I was surprised they figured it out that fast. He told me that they would be reviewing the applications sometime in April but less than 2 days later he called and told me the good news.

Hi, I am also applying for the summer session and I wanted to know if any of those who were already accepted applied for financial aid? If so, what kind of assistance do they offer?

Hi miya678,

I have applied for FAFSA. You might get a grand or a loan or both. Juts fill out the application at FAFSA.ed.gov. Hope that helps =)

Btw, when did u apply?

Hi Anya2084,

I just applied on the 16th. I already completed the FAFSA, I'm hoping to get the most I can. How about you, when did you apply? Are you in yet?

Hi miya678,

I applied on March 30th, and still waiting for their responce.:anbd:

I was told that the addmissions comm. will meet again the week of May 2nd, and we'll see how it goes form there. :hpygrp: Btw, how did u do on the HESI/GPA?

My GPA is a 3.4 and I got an 86 on the Hesi. I'm worried about my exam score after reading this blog and sering how well others did. But I'm hoping for the best and I'll have to wait @ least 2 more weeks to get any news.

Hi all. I just began studying for the Hesi and I'm wondering if there is any one subject that may need more attention than others. I was told by a friend that one of her co-workers took the test and said the math section had a lot of conversion problems on it. This kind of concerns me because the study guide doesn't have any conversion problems in it, it only list a few conversion and says there're good to know( I guess that's my clue to memorize them,Duh, LOL). I guess I can find some conversion problems online just to brush up. Anyway, any and all tips on the Hesi are greatly appreciated. O, does anyone know if the Hesi was taken at another school can the scores from that test be used at Chamberlain? Thanks.

The conversions weren't bad at all. Just memorize what ever is in the book and you should be fine. It is all very simple math.

So I want to start figuring out my private loans and everything, but I don't know where to start. I know registration is sometime in May, so should I just wait to worry about that during registration or will a financial adviser help me with that? I already talked about it with one but she didn't tell me when exactly I should apply for student loans. I just remember her saying something about registration :/ What do you guys think?

There wasn't a lot of conversions on the test but there were some so definitely be familiar with basic conversion units, nothing too advanced. There were a lot of ratio's but those are incredibly easy. The math portion of my study guide was spot on, but the biology and chemistry were seriously lacking.
