Hello everyone! I'm a pre-Nursing student with two semesters of pre-reqs to do before I can apply to the Nursing Program at my University. Who wants to start a support thread and help motivate each other? We can list our classes for the fall and report back with updates/venting/encouraging as needed. I'll start:
A&P I with Lab
Fundamentals of Organic & Biochem with Lab
Nursing 110 (a survey introductory course at my school serving as an overview of Nursing)
Sociology 105
I'd love to hear what everyone is taking! Good luck, you can do this!
:)
Kayfactor,No I am not in a LPN school, however, I was going to attend one last year, but decided to stick with becoming a RN. I attend camden county college I'm taking the prereqs for widener BSN program.
I'm taking the prerequisite for widener BSN program.
I am too, every class I'm taking transfers over.. They have a really good program and a excellent skills lab when you practice skills for RN. Plus, they have a masters and PhD program for nursing to as an option..

Ohhh ok thats good to hear. When are u transfering to widener cos I wanna start in the summer
Great post, OP.
I currently have a 4.0 at my college, but that was because I took a remedial course during the summer of which I earned a high A. So it's really just an institutional GPA since that remedial course won't carry over.
So for my fall classes:
- Human A&P I w/ Lab
- English Composition I
- College Algebra
- American U. S. History I
- General Psychology
I will take this challenge as well. I have some time before I can enroll in my college's nursing program (Looking at Spring 2015 once I ETS from the Military). Started my second semester of online classes today. I've been deployed all of 2013 so far and am scheduled to return sometime in December of this year.
Fall term consists of:
Intermediate Algebra (Flunked the assessment for my college so I had to start from the bottom)
Human Growth and Development
Humanities
Socio (maybe, having a book issue right now so I might be dropping this one)
And of course I'm competitive, so I will be striving for a 4.0 as well!
Good luck everyone!
I accept! This fall, I will be taking:
DMAT 0093- Intermediate Algebra (guessed on the college algebra portion of the ACCUPLACER because I did not know it would be on the test and didn't study)
PSYC 2301- General Psychology
ENGL 1301- Comp I
My classes begin tomorrow and I am soooo excited! I hope that my excitement lasts throughout the semester. Good luck to everyone! Can we do it? YES, WE CAN!
I'm on my second year, and I've taken Nutrition, Psych, HDev, Statistics, Anatomy, 2 English classes, Anthropology, and a few general ed classes (3)
This fall, I'm taking Microbiology w/lab, Chem2A w/lab, Socio, and Phil!
wooohoo
Next spring I'm hoping to get the Chem 2B class and the physiology w/lab class along with COMM.

Awesome idea!
I'm keeping it light this semester and taking Anatomy with Lab. I want to give myself the best chance possible to get an A.
