  1. I accept! This fall, I will be taking: DMAT 0093- Intermediate Algebra (guessed on the college algebra portion of the ACCUPLACER because I did not know it would be on the test and didn't study) PSYC 2301- General Psychology ENGL 1301- Comp I My classes begin tomorrow and I am soooo excited! I hope that my excitement lasts throughout the semester. Good luck to everyone! Can we do it? YES, WE CAN!
  2. Yes. I plan on completing Biology for Science Majors I and Nutrition before taking A&P I & II.
  3. Hello all, I am fairly new to the site and this fall, I will begin to complete my pre-requisites for the nursing programs at El Centro and Moutain View College. I wanted to be proactive and try to make plan of the courses that I will take each semester up until they are satisfied and I am ready to apply. Just to give a little background about myself, I have 2 kids (6 and 1 yr old) and I work full-time as of right now. My question is what are some common nursing pre-reqs that should not be taken together in the same semester based on level of difficulty and/or amount of information to retain? I would like to make sure that I am creating a realistic and manageable class schedule. Thanks in advance!
  4. I would start with the person that advised you to stay away. Does that person they have good study habits? Did they strive to do well in Professor A's class?
  5. This will be my 1st time in college. I am only taking 9 credits this semester to start since i have been out of school 6 years, work full-time, and have 2 little gremlins. (6 and 1) ENGL 1301 PSYC 2301 Developmental math 0093
  6. I think it would be beneficial if you included what courses you have previously taken so that members of the group won't suggest them.
  7. Your story is so motivational! Just yesterday, my dad told me that I can't go to school because I have two kids to take care of and that I should have gone right after high school when I had the chance which was 6 years ago. I won't let his ignorant words deter me. After all, futhering my education is a positive thing for my kids as well. I registered for my classes yesterday and i can't wait to start the long journey ahead. Good luck to you!
  8. I am so glad you posted this because i am wondering the same. I will be entering college for the first time this fall and i don't know how to feel about this class. I took Cosmetology in high school and we had an anatomy & phisiology chapter to cover which was a bit difficult and i can only imagine how hard it would be in a class that solely covers this subject. I'm still have my notes, tests and study guides that i plan to use as a refresher. I wish you the best of luck in this class when you take it!
