Chaffey college Spring 2018

Published

Hi!

I applied for nursing at Chaffey College to start in Spring of 2018! I just want to know how the nursing program is and chat with all of you who have applied for spring 2018 as well! Good luck everyone who applied!

People were bringing a printout to the orientation, so I'm sure that a printout is acceptable. :]

Thank you for your response! I tried calling Wednesday to find out but was unable to get anyone on the phone. Do you know what the contact information/email is for the lady who was taking over for Karen?

I'm not sure if you got her email but it's [email protected]

SOOOO for you that started this program, what do you think? I have been very scared about applying there? I just got done putting in my application, but am super nervous

I would like to know too, as I submitted an application for the 3rd time.

Chaffey program is nice. clinic is fun.

Exams are difficult. You won't have time on weekend. So busy. Any more specific questions?

Yes, hi so I wondering how many alternates were able to get into the program with you guys? Did all of you pass the teas? I was selected as an alternate for fall 2018 semester, take teas on the 28th.... super nervous being that it all depends on my score :( and if spots become available...

Also how many spots are available for your second semester?

Exactly 7 Alts came to orientation day, and I think "most" alts got in. I'm not sure the exact number. But when we started our first semester, there were only 38 students, not 40. How many spots available for second semester? I don't understand your question. Good luck for your TEAS!

Oh okay thankyou for that information, makes me feel better... and about second semester, since your going into that next, my question was how many ppl do you have in your class right now? Are there open spots so far? I was in the lvn transition class and asking for my classmates that were hoping to get into second...

Hello everyone.

I'm applying for the spring of 2019 so I'll be applying in about 2 months. I am a Chaffey student and have gotten so much conflicting information as to how they select students to be in the program. Can anyone who's gone though the process and/or in the program tell me if it's strictly lottery? My counselor told me they favor veterans & then those with all the prerequisites + general ed done & then just start pulling applications randomly but then I've also heard only 20% is lottery & the rest is who they feel is best. Also how has your experience been so far? Honesty is appreciated. Chaffey is 15 minutes from my house. I still have 2 months to even apply but I'm So anxious & praying to get in.

is there anyone that got in and just finished their first year that would like to sell their books for the first year?
