Chaffey college Spring 2018

Hi!

I applied for nursing at Chaffey College to start in Spring of 2018! I just want to know how the nursing program is and chat with all of you who have applied for spring 2018 as well! Good luck everyone who applied!

Hey guys- are any of you taking the "optional" 550 course ? I feel like I should, but am liking for other people's opinions. Thank you !

Hello, if anybody is still around here :-).Are the general education courses needed to be complete before starting the program (i.e. math 401)? I haven't taken it, but would like to apply. Do you get extra points or something if you have it completed? thanks !

Yes, you have to have everything completed before you even apply. No extra points, it's all random. Good luck! I got accepted the 3rd time applying but luckily ended up going to another school.

Yeah, the lotto system really sucks. I was denied for a whole year and then finally decided not to waste my time and apply to another program. When I was accepted into the other program, I was also accepted into Chaffey, go figure. I also heard that some people get in the first time they apply, so you just have to be lucky I suppose. Good luck!

Ugh a whole year? I imagine some are denied longer. Guess I won't count on it lol and find other options. Thank you for the heads up!

Yeah, definitely have other options because it could be a while. I wish I hadn't put all of my eggs into one basket and wasted that year, but lesson learned.
