No calculators allowed .

Just thought I would throw this out there for future students browsing around. I was accepted as an alternate for the fall (will not be attending though, because I made it into my top choice school), and I had 72.5 points. I read a few people saying 76 and 78.... but 72.5 did it for me :-)

Hey guys- are any of you taking the "optional" 550 course ? I feel like I should, but am liking for other people's opinions. Thank you !

I've heard it is very hard.... but as long as you study hard and do what you are supposed to- it's fine. What have you heard?

Yea! Last semester the people who got accepted received their letters around the 7th, 8th and a few on the 9th. I'm guessing Saturday and/or Monday.

Yea, it's strictly lottery based. I took every single pre req at Chaffey also. And I do not think they favor people who live in their area based on people I know who have been accepted into the program, and where they live. I do know, however, that they do not like for their applicants to have any pre requisites incomplete. But- I had all of mine done. Sooooo who knows if they really favor anyone in the application pool. :-/

Honestly though- I'm just hoping to get into one of the four I applied to haha. Mt. SAC was my second choice school - until I found out that their mandatory orientation is for the exact days that I have my family vacation (which I already bought plane tickets for!!)

I have those exact associates degrees! í ½í¸Š My stats are a little bit different Science : 3.43 Overall for pre requisites: 4.0 Teas: 78.7 Volunteer: 200+ But no healthcare work//not bilingual. I feel like so many people have those extra points :-/ Like you said though: let's hope the cut off is not super high! *fingers crossed for us* Is Chaffey your first choice school as well?

It is easier ! But the math portion suuuuuccckkkss. Haha. No calculators allowed. I ended with a score of over 85 on that one. I applied to RCC as well. Mind my asking your points for that school?
