Chaffey college Spring 2018

Hi!

I applied for nursing at Chaffey College to start in Spring of 2018! I just want to know how the nursing program is and chat with all of you who have applied for spring 2018 as well! Good luck everyone who applied!

Nothing in the mail today. No acceptance, no alternative, no rejection. *sigh* I went in person today, asked the women Karen, (she sits in the front, see her as soon as walk into the health science building, she was rude, and had an attitude). Went in to ask about my statues, told me to wait, and couldn't give me any information at the moment to just wait

I didn't receive anything in today's mail.

I've talked to her before too and she is very rude. They will not give anybody info about acceptance letters or anything, unfortunately. I would think that they'd send the acceptance letter at the same time, right?

I got a rejection letter from Chaffey today. So I'm guessing those who haven't gotten a letter yet are going to be receiving a letter that says you didn't get in. I was going in with a 3.5 in my science and a 3.65 in the rest of my gpa. I live in Fontana also. I guess I don't have that good of luck. Congratulations to everyone that made it!!!!

awe maaannnnn.. I have a 3.98 in sciences, 3.58 in gen ed, had ALL pre reqs done, AND turned in my app oat 10 am on September 1st. I guess none of the small details matter at all. Womp.

Yea this is my 3rd time applying there. 1st time I didn't have that dosage math class. 2nd time I had the math class and I had a CCA in my 3 main sciences. I retook anatomy and got an A, so I was applying with AAC in sciences, all As in the rest of my classes and two Bs. I had all my prerequisites done too. I guess this really is a lotto choice then.

Aw man! I'm so sorry to hear that :( this is my second time and I haven't received anything. So it is a lottery system... did you apply anywhere else?

Yea it's sucks because Chaffey was my top 2 choices. I applied at RCC, but I still have to take the teas. I'm waiting to see if they will invite me to take it for free at the school. I also applied at APU high desert program. I applied at Mt. Sac and I actually got an email back from them saying that I'm a candidate for their nursing program and that I have to go have an interview with a counselor over there to go over paper work. Lastly, I applied at GCC community college and I also received an email from them inviting me to take the teas for their school on Oct 25th. Glendale is just a far drive, so if I get in I will have to relocate lol
