It's Columbus day today. Post offices are closed and no deliveries are made, so stay positive guys.

Im extremely discouraged/disappointed now. This was my second try, I haven't received anything yet. Is USPS closed on Columbus Day? Better than nothing. Congratulates to those who received the letter! I applied to other schools, to be honest, due to my science GPA, I don't expect...hoping to get accepted due to their 10-20% random selection time to look for another career..

It's my second try with chaffey as well. Don't be discouraged you know it's kinda lottery based so it is all about luck. I'm sure no one has received any letters today because it's a holiday, so we should wait for couple more days.

I received nothing today as well :-( I understand it is lottery- but I really hope that my tattoos ( i have several) did not play a role in my denial. She did emphasize on the "conservative" aspect of the school. Do you guys think that would/could even be an issue ?

It could be an issue if you have visible tattoos. I do too, but I wear long sleeves to cover them, so they don't know that I have tattoos. If you're able to cover them, I don't see why it would be a problem.
