CGFNS CVS for NY State: STAGNANT

Hello. I am applying for RN application by examination in New York State. I am still processing my CGFNS CVS for NY State since Nov2012. It has been a long time since I purchased my order and haven't got any progress on the service. I've made inquiries to CGFNS Customer Care and told me that the requests are already sent to my school... TWICE. However, i contacted my school and told me that they haven't receive any documents/requests from CGFNS.. I am afraid if i cant complete the documents that CGFNS requested from my school within the given 180 days.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? How did you guys follow up your CGFNS CVS for NY State?

Average processing time for CVS is 6 months and then whatever documentation CGFNS has is forwarded to NY BON and then they make their determination to whether you meet their requirements

i was also applying to CVS NY state, and my sister called my school there in the philippines asking if there is cgfns leeter requesting for my documents..and said there is,,but then the school said that we are the one to pay and mail it back to cgfns because they cgfns don't pay it for them,,is it really the processing??that i with my family is responsible to send it back to cgfns??? i thought cgfns was the one who did that,,i appreciate your knowledge about this. and cgfns was sending me email that they have to do my cvs last jan.18,2013..so its been running threee months already...so sir,what should i do??should i let my sister mailed it back to cgfns???pls help thanks

hello khaleesi123. yes iam a local board passer. however, i didnt declared my license to CGFNS and NY so as not to waste time processing.

PS: i just passed the nclex, anyway ;D

@moki9204 they didn't find out about your license? Are you still okay now? How many months did your CVS take? I'm scared. Please answer. Thank you. :)

You do realise that the BON could take action if you lied or omitted on your application form?

One of the questions on the NY BON application form that you complete. Do you now hold, or have you ever held, a license or certificate to practice any profession* in any jurisdiction?

If yes, list each license/certificate, state or jurisdiction and provide appropriate information in the columns below. A Form 3 must be submitted for

each professional license/certificate listed unless it is a license/certificate issued by the New York State Education Department. See the

Applicant Instructions on Form 3 for specific information about completing and submitting the form.

can you help me because I'm having the same problem too my file is ready for submission to NY BON by CGFNS because 6 months time lapse and the CGFNS did not get any response from my school. when i called the school they told me that they've been waiting for me to pick it up and mail it CGFNS. Can you please tell me what did you do? Because i am so worried and I'm thinking how the NY BON will decide about my eligibility if the CGFNS did not get the response from my school and prc? Now i was doing the last minute option which is sending my TOR to CGFNS but now I have a problem too with mailing it LBC told me they cannot mail it coz the address is in P.O.BOX.

i am undergoing the same problem. its been 6 months since i applied and the letters have been sent twice but my college hasn't received it they say. and now my application status says "ready for submisssion". what did you do when you had the same problem???? can you pls pls pls reply????

Usually everything is sent to NY BON and they make a decision but I think you can arrange for your transcripts to be sent to them instead of CGFNS. Speak to the BON once you know your stuff has been sent

hi guys! I just want to ask if it is alright to call the school to ask if they have received the requests from cgfns?
