Hi! When I did my application, I did not write anything on the blank lines. For the licensing authority I think you should write the PRC's address in Cagayan de Oro :)

I really appreciate you sharing your experience with me. You seem to be a strong and a dedicated nurse. Would you mind sharing how were you able to apply to hospitals?

I would like to thank all of you who shared your thoughts and insights on my current situation. I feel I am not alone because of you. :) I had a different expectation of the real world of nursing before and I did not expect LTC to be this hard. I was more of preparing my self to be a nurse in the hospital. And I was wrong, as a foreign graduate nurse, I should have researched more into LTC settings. I was hired by the other facility that I applied to. Now Im thinking Im going to resign from my other job. Do you have suggestions, tips and advice on how I could become a good nurse on a skilled nursing facility? I don't think I am yet a good leader and I know I have to be firm but I cower when some people would raise their voice to me. Thank you so much for your responses I really2x appreciate them. :)

Im so happy to find comfort from a new grad like you :) this new facility which hired me want me to start my orientation with them week after next. i am just working as a per diem nurse in my current job. So I think it won't overlap? Lol

I just don't want to risk my license. I wanna work in a facility where there's enough support for new grads like me.

a month after I got my license which was this July, I was hired at a small ltc/rehab facility. I was happy because I have a job and I'm familiar with most people working there. When I was orientating though, I saw the state came twice in a week because of the complaints they received. I was so miserable and depressed when after orientation they put me to a unit I'm not so familiar and I dont even know how to do the paperworks. Now I want to quit because I was offered a job in a good facility. But, I am reluctant to do so because I am scared of what they would say to my mom's friend who referred me to work there. i would appreciate your thoughts on my current situation. Thank you so much guys. And I have always come here in AN because of the comfort you give to the members. :)

Hi myie16 you don't need to submit anything aside from the transcript and license authorization and validation forms and also the signed notarized application :) That's all right. It's better to ask questions so you won't waste time doing wrong things in your application. í ½í±í ¼í¿¼

Did you send your signed notarized application together with your application? The transcript authorization and validation form must be sent to the CGFNS too because they will be the one to send it to your school. :)
