Anyone else apply for Cerritos College in Socal for the Fall??

Yay!! I just received my letter today. I'm still so shocked that I got in! So excited and can't wait until orientation. By the way, does anyone know if I can submit my teas test scores from 3-4 years ago? I took it awhile back and I think I've heard recently that they've came out with a teas version V so I'm a little concerned. Hopefully I don't have to retake it. I will definitely call tomorrow when I have a chance, but if anyone can answer my curiosity now that would really help alot! Thanks!

Congrats!!! I'm really happy for you. What a difference a couple days makes! What version of the TEAS did you take before?

version 4.0 is fine.. I called to ask bc I also haven't taken the new version

I don't see why 3.0 wouldn't be acceptable- but call and ask to be one hundred percent certain

help!! does anybody know the difference between teas version 3.0 vs. 4.0? I called the nursing department today and was told that my test scores from teas version 3.0 (that I took back in 2009) is not acceptable, however version 4.0 is acceptable =[. The lady I spoke to did not sound like she was so sure of it though..so I'm thinking of calling again just to make sure. Maybe try to talk to the nursing advisor instead? I've already scheduled to take the teas in a few weeks, but it would be great to know that I don't have to retake it again! Please let me know if you do know anything about it! Thanks!!

I emailed and was told per Director of Nursing version IV was fine. You should email and go there in person to be sure about version III. That way you have it in writing to be safe. Start studying for version V too just in case, bc there isn't much time left before testing.

use the email in the letter.. she will check directly with the director and get back to u the same day.

Im not in CA now, so I just callled and the lady said she couldnt tell anything about the selection. I told her because Im unable to check the mails until 2 more wks. Then she put me on hold, after that she asked my last name, first name , and she told me not to worry about the mail until 2 wks because she didnt see my name on the list for Fall 2011. I was so sad. I don't even bother to ask anything else. I thnk that I dont have any luck this year

Does anyone know that all the selected, and alternate ones are supposed to have mails already for Spring and Fall? :crying2: If we don't get mails by now, it means we're rejected? hix
