You won't find any info online. They don't answer the phone.You need to go meet with the counselor first, she will fill out the nursing prerequisites form sheet that you gonna take to the nursing office. Then they will let you fill out the nursing application form. You don't need to take an appointment with the counselor just walk in to the admission office n they will send you there. You must bring your unofficial transcripts when you go to see the counselor n if you get there by 9 am you can finish with the whole nursing application process and be put on the waiting list the same day.

lovetheER remember, last year, you and me got invitation to take TEAS, both ended up being alternates. haha. I wish u good luck this year. You really have a better chance this year.

They closed the old program. Last couple of years, rate of passing is 90%, last year 100%. Nursing Program at LATTC is NO JOKE. I meant it @@@ Next semester they say passing score for nursing class will be 77% (instead of 75), just to get a C, and pass. Everything is new at LATTC nursing program. Building, classroom, equipment, Computer lab... They start to have a long waiting list now. Good luck !

Hi guys, so everyone in my class just took ATI for fundamental after first 8 weeks of nursing school to see where we are rite now. Most of us failed. I got 61% ( National mean: 68-69% ) and we have to pass with level 2 by the end of next 8 weeks (first semester) to cont'd the program. I'm so stressful rite now. I just ordered ATI Fundamental Nursing 7.0. Im really nervous. any suggestion or tips will help me alot. Thank you so much.

Pls read and UNDERSTAND the terms. Then, u apply what u Understand on the test. It works for me. Don't try to memorize too much coz its impossible for u to memorize everything. However, for Pharm. you have to MEMORIZE (side effect, adverse effect, contraindications) of important drugs ( a lot).

i've been reading the book too. so frustrated coz it's too much. Dont know which one is more important , which one will be asked on the test.. hix

this morning, my nursing director told us that most community colleges in LA, Calif. do NOT have big fund to apply for NLN accreditation nowadays since the budget was cut last 2-3 years. To apply for that, nursing department has to spend at least 25-30k dollars for ppl who come to the school and work on NLN accrediation (including: flight tickets, hotels.. blah blah) For people who graduated from non- NLN accredited school in CALIFORNIA, and want to have RN-BSN degree, NURSING DEPARTMENT IN CAL STATE UNIVERSITIES accept all schools (as long as your school has name on CA BON)
