Anyone else apply for Cerritos College in Socal for the Fall??

Did you guys hear anything yet ... I'm still waiting impatiently ...

I just called. The person I spoke to said they hope to have letters out in two to three weeks.

Were you able to check your status by phone? or we just have to wait for letters?

This is so nerve-racking!!!! I can't help but think negative. What if I don't get in. I don't have much luck, I mean what are the chances of my name getting picked from 400 or is it 500 students. ugh!!!!

Tell me about it. I'm a nervous wreck, biting my nails all the time. I have been rejected so many times like many of us, and this is my second year trying. I have applied to 6 schools this year and 4 schools have said no so far. My best chance of getting in is in cerritos right now. If not i have to start the whole process again, going to orientation meetings and researching for schools. It will be such a pain to have through go to that again because my experiences have been horrible. It makes me feel like a loser sometimes, but i know I will be a nurse one day is a matter of time. Rejection makes me want to be a nurse even more. I always pray for patience because this is hard. I just keep thinking positive, hopefully positive thoughts lead to positive outcome.

From what i understood in orientation 400 may have applied but many do not make the cut when it comes to minimum requirements, other forget official transcripts etc. Hope this makes you feel a little better.

Ciela 2009- Which other schools have you applied to?? I have applied to NU, Cerritos, COD, Mira Costa, West Coast Univeristy and waiting to apply to Palomar, Grossmont, City, and I think thats it. I live in Temecula so most the schools are south.

LBCC, RIO HONDO, GROSSMONT, PALOMAR, LA HARBOR, PASADENA, CERRITOS, and

SAN DIEGO STATE, SAN MARCOS, CSLA, and currently in the process for National U.

Ciela 2009- I tried to apply for Grossmont last month but the werent accepting apps... did I miss the deadline?? For Palomar the deadline I is Oct this year... Which deadline did you apply for?? ah! I hope not!
