CEP Feb. Applicants

Published

Hi all! Anyone else applying for the CEP program through Maricopa Community College during this upcoming application cycle? I'm applying for the GCC/NAU program and was curious if anyone else is applying this semester as well. I'm hoping I make the cutoff - the program is becoming really popular really fast!

My insurance covered my titers. I just went to my regular dr for yearly exam and he order the labs. As for the vaccinations I believe my insurance covered those as well, I only needed a tetorifice and the 3 hep a vaccines. Isn't vaccination coverage mandatory now with insurance? I would call your insurance and ask. However I know that on the mcccd nursing website, if you click on current students one of the links in there is for a clinic that offers low cost vaccinations, tb testing, titers, and exams.

I know it seems very costly I need to get titers my records are old and messy. I don't know what is cheaper some insurances buy for immunizations but not titers I was told. Here is a link off the maricopanursing website under requirements for admission:

Health & Safety Forms-Resources

I need to check into if my insurance covers titers that would be great less I have to fork out of pocket.

My titers were done at the same time I had my regular blood work done. I think I might have received a bill from the lab but it wasn't for more than $50 bucks I believe. A friend if mine went ahead and just had his dr give him all the shots required, instead of getting titers, since his insurance covered vaccinations and not titers.

I checked with my insurance about 6 months ago when I had BCBS and they said it was absolutely not covered because it was for a third party. I just switched to Aetna though, so I will check with them. It was be awesome if they sing a different tune, otherwise it's going to be in the $500-$700 range with titers and vaccinations. O_o

Hey! Congrats to all who where accepted! I was accepted the last round and I am now in Block 1 at MCC/NAU! If anyone was accepted into MCC and wants more information.....feel free to message me!

I'll be attending MCC in the fall! I will definitely be in contact :)

I'm not even sure if anyone is checking this board anymore, but I figure it was worth trying.

For those of us that were accepted - have you applied to NAU yet and requested official transcripts from your CC be sent? I did this the day after I got my acceptance email and NAU is still saying that it's waiting for my transcripts! Just (impatiently) wondering where others are in the admissions process...

I applied as well 2 days after I was accepted and the website said it is still waiting on all my transcripts too!

I applied the day after I got my acceptance and sent my transcripts the same day. They have received my transcripts, it's says my application is complete and submitted. I am now just waiting to be "admitted".

I think I'm the only ASU cep on here but I applied 2 days after being accepted and have been admitted. I attended asu but hadn't yaken classes there in two years so I just had to apply for re admission, that's probably why it didn't take too long for me. Did you guys have your NAU orientation yet?

Hello everyone, I applied the same day at NAU. It says it is complete, but not admitted yet. I sent over my transcripts but they haven't done anything yet still waiting to be admitted. I have decided to go the the Friday 21st.
