CEP Feb. Applicants

Hi all! Anyone else applying for the CEP program through Maricopa Community College during this upcoming application cycle? I'm applying for the GCC/NAU program and was curious if anyone else is applying this semester as well. I'm hoping I make the cutoff - the program is becoming really popular really fast!

I got the financial aid email package from NAU did anyone else notice the cost of attendance was $22,000? Where did the $10,000 extra cost come from??

Does anyone know when we'll be officially placed into the Maricopa Nursing and receive our emails? I've already registered for my summer ASU class which starts in may and my Fall registration opens tomorrow the 19th for the fall classes. I feel so strange registering for fall with asu when I haven't even been "officially" placed into the Maricopa nursing program through MCC.

How is the process going for everyone in the NAU CEP?

Yeah I saw that (think I had a mini heart attack!) I'm hoping it's because it says it's total cost, and they're adding in gas, food, and other items. I double checked the brochure and it still says total cost for nau is around 10000 to 11000. I also checked nau's website and it says for extended campuses it is 345/ per credit which matches the brochure. Hopefully they will explain at orientation. I'm going Saturday what day are you going?

I was just reading that and it is because they added in direct and indirect costs like tuition, fees, room, meals, personal exp, and transportation.

Lol glad I'm not the only one! I calculated the tuition as well and pegged it close $11,000. I was just unsure if most comes from program fees because ASU charges $1000 just to be in nursing program that is separate from tuition. I'm going Friday to orientation!

I saw that too and wondered if I had seriously mistaken the cost of the NAU CEP (although I remember them stating the costs during the original nursing program orientation). I also noticed that it says that the $22,000 doesn't include summer classes! Aren't the summer classes done through NAU, which costs over $300 per credit?! Oy vey - I hope I get approved for enough in student loans or I'm in trouble!

This is for tuition
