I just received my placement letter! :) It's all becoming official :)

Excuse my stupidity...but what exactly does the placement letter tell you? My head is spinning with all of the information that we have received and are supposed to receive, not to mention all of the things we have to do before school starts!!! Did you get it via email?

Never mind...my email literally dinged a second after I hit submit on that comment - and of course it was my placement letter. Question answered.

Yes I got it via email and it is placement into the maricopa nursing program at the school that you'll be attending. Mine was for Mesa Community College. In the email they congratulate you and mention that you need to sign and fax a confirmation of intent that they will send in a letter by mail. The form needs to be faxed by april 8th. They mention that even though we've already done the CEP confirmation we still need to sign and fax this one, which is specifically for the maricopa colleges.

I didn't get mine. I thought I had reaffirmed earlier in the month, but when I logged in to double check today since I hadn't got a letter it had this giant red error message that I didn't reaffirm yet (past the deadline), so of course now I am freaking out. And of course it's the weekend so I have to wait until Monday morning to call someone and ask what to do. I already attended the orientation and faxed back the first contract, signed up for Fasttrack, got admitted to NAU, etc. Just apparently didn't get placed into Maricopa nursing, which is kind of the most important part. Ughhhhh.....

Oh no!

I know they reserve class places specifically for the accepted CEP students, so hopefully you'll just get placed in the second round? I really hope everything works out okay.

I wouldn't strew about it they will fix it. It does say on the website:

Anyone reaffirming late will be considered in the next placement on 4/8.

Hello everyone hope everything is going great for you. I talked to an advisor and she said they will be enrolling everyone into their summer 2014 courses in a block late April/early May and they would send out an e-mail to us once they do that.

Was that for NAU or Maricopa? I remember them telling us at Orientation that we would need to enroll ourselves for Maricopa classes, but not NAU. I was wondering how that would work because I'm sure you can't just enroll yourself into the nursing program at Maricopa without approval.
