Was that for NAU or Maricopa? I remember them telling us at Orientation that we would need to enroll ourselves for Maricopa classes but not NAU. I was wondering how that would work because I'm sure you can't just enroll yourself into the nursing program at Maricopa without approval.[/quote']
I was wondering that too. They don't display those classes on Student Center...so how would that work?

That was for NAU I believe that once Maricopa opens the nursing classes we will be able to enroll. I'm sure once we get our orientation packet it will tell us everything. Has anyones transcripts been added to their NAU account yet?

Mine are showing in the Transfer Credit Report on my NAU Student Center. For some reason my MAT121 says it was rejected? Strange.

FYI: All my credits were Maricopa CCs and sent over electronically, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I am STILL waiting for NAU's site to show that they have received my transcripts. I have sent them twice now and it's been over a month. I keep getting these paranoid delusions that I will fall between the cracks and never get enrolled or start the program.

My mat 121 class says the same thing (reject) I believe they don't count that class but will count mat 142. NAU has received my transcripts that were electronically sent over, but they haven't done anything with them and it has been a month. They did say it would take about 6 weeks.

I wouldn't strew about it they will fix it. It does say on the website:
Anyone reaffirming late will be considered in the next placement on 4/8.

Whew! I called the Maricopa nursing district office and they told me that I would just get placed the next round and that I wasn't in any danger of losing my spot. What a huge relief! My son had surgery this month and was in the hospital for 3 days, it's been such a crazy last couple of weeks and I was worried that by not reaffirming in time I had blown it all!

I've also been waiting on a transcript eval from NAU for about a month. I had my transcripts sent over the day after we got our acceptance emails since they were from an out of state college and I figured it would take a while. I'm just ready to be done with all this legwork and actually start classes!

I totally hear you on that! I essentially started back in school in Jan 2011, for what I figured was a 3 year degree, and we still have 2 or more years ahead of us. Calling yourself a student at 30+ can definitely get you some side-eyed looks. LOL

Hello everyone! I just wanted to check in...I know I"m a little late to the party :woot: I was admitted to the GCC weekend program. My transcripts did post to NAU (and like others have mentioned, the MAT 121 was rejected, I think that is because the required math is mat 142 or above, so those credits just dont transfer), but it did take awhile. I had to call a few times as they didnt receive them the first time they were sent. My application shows "complete" on LOUIE, but I havent received anything from NAU by mail yet stating I've been admitted. Hopefully soon! Just trying to keep everything straight as far as all the things we need to do get done before the summer/fall (immunizations, background check, etc). Congrats to everyone, nice to meet you, and good luck in the program!

Congrats to you for getting in the CEP program. I have my immunizations, and background done and my LOUIE says Complete.

I feel like my transcripts are not right, but yet they have my degree I just got showing. May I ask you how many credits transferred?

I don't even see my transcripts uploaded just my degree lol... However I did get my letter of acceptance from the school it just hasn't been reflected in my NAU

I had 63 credits transferred over that were approved. The only class not approved was MAT121. I had other classes from way back that I took that were not required for this program that are included too.
