Hello fellow RNs!
So the application for Cedar-Sinai's RN Residency Program opened for the March 2015 Cohort. I thought that this would be the perfect place to gather and talk about our experiences and thoughts as applications are being reviewed. Has anyone applied in the past?? What is the turnaround time from application to interviews? I know from past threads that there were three rounds of interviews.
If any RNs are in the program now or have completed the program, please feel free to post with any comments, tips, or advice about the interview process.
Good luck everyone!!
*Edit: My apologies, I'm new to allnurses.com and discovered that there are other relevant threads/forums. I'll repost this over at "California Nursing"
When we signed in, my name was on the last page... I tried to count but was afraid of being too obvious. My guesstimate was around 30-40??
I went up around 3pm as well and it was almost empty by the time I was done.
A panel may not be too bad; thinking positively, I'd say that you have more voices to vouch for you to take a spot in the program!

@bananafana yes 5! Med surg 5N GI and pulmonary. Assistant mgr, manager, and other staff RNs. Yep it was pretty nerve wrecking but I think I was more at ease than my second interview.
@bobcee I've also read and heard about calls vs emails.. Ahh scary!!!! Do u guys know how many they interviewed? My appt was for 2:30 but I didn't get called up until 3 ish. I left around 4 and the room was pretty much empty.
