Cedars-Sinai New Grad Residency - March 2015

Hello fellow RNs!

So the application for Cedar-Sinai's RN Residency Program opened for the March 2015 Cohort. I thought that this would be the perfect place to gather and talk about our experiences and thoughts as applications are being reviewed. Has anyone applied in the past?? What is the turnaround time from application to interviews? I know from past threads that there were three rounds of interviews.

If any RNs are in the program now or have completed the program, please feel free to post with any comments, tips, or advice about the interview process.

No not yet. No email no calls, im wondering why they're taking so long. Have you tried calling the HR?

Just wanted to let those who were waiting know they are making job offers. I got a call for a job offer on 8NE this morning around 8:45! Good luck everyone!

I got offered a job for 8 South also. Recieved the call at 830. Should we start a facebook group for this cohort?

I have not received any calls or rejection emails. I have checked both my spam folder and my inbox. Is anyone else waiting for either a call for an offer or a rejection email? does anyone know if all rejection emails were sent out? does anyone know if all offers were given out via a call from anthony today? Would love some feedback on where to go from here and if anyone else is in the same boat as me. Thanks in advance.

Hi malsy3. I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't received a call or email. I wonder if HR is making the calls or if each unit is different. For those of you who got calls was it from Anthony or the unit directors?

I believe all rejection emails were sent out last Friday at around 830 to 9 o'clock. You should wait until tomorrow. If you dont hear from anthony by 12 then give him a call afer lunch. Best of luck mate.

Yes it was him. Not sure if he calls by alphabetical order but my last name ends with C

Thanks bobcee. I wonder if we (those who are still waiting to hear back) are on the "fall back" list--as in if those who are offered don't accept it, then they will offer it to us? does anyone know if this may be the case or has been the case in the future.
