The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?
I'm slightly confused...
Hey guys!!! I just want to wish everyone good luck on Friday!!! I am so nervous because everyone here are great candidates, while I'm just an average joe. I hope we all get in the program...I don't want to embarass myself, that is all I'm asking for...maybe no coffee for me that day...hehe
I'm sure you're not some "average joe"! Have some faith in yourself, you'll be great :)
That was a crazy scene! There were probably 40 nurse interviewers. Everyone waited in the auditorium and they called your name as a nurse became available. I think my interview went well, but who knows. Again, good luck to everyone. I'm sure we all did great.
Did anyone ask when decisions will be made? This has been such a long process. I'm hoping it's quick!

My interviewer told me decisions would be made in about 3 weeks. I was caught off guard when people were getting second interviews! Good luck to everyone! Remember...the VP said we were a special group out of 2000 applicants!
tclu - I agree my second interview was very short.. I felt my first interview went great too, I gave great answers. I heard from others during the second interview they were asking about research, more general questions from other directors. Yet, mine didn't ask about my research. Oh well It is what it is. I am happy I was given the opportunity to be there
my interview with the director lasted less than a minute...she really only asked me point blank kind of questions "where did i go to school" "What was your other degree in?" "Do you speak any other languages?" very simple, one word kind of questions. She was writing the whole time and then looked up and said, "thank you, you're all done!" i was kind of surprised, but I had a chance to look over my scores from the first interview and did well. maybe she was just tired and was trying to speed things along cuz it was getting late...
good luck to everyone :)
