  1. That would be great if you can PM me with that info and your email...i dont have PM privileges yet but i can receive them.
  2. oh no...i've been home though. did the package come the day after you spoke to them about everything?
  3. Has anyone received the Background/drug test information in the mail yet? I'm not in the LA area btw, so it may be different for others. I called HR last week and they said it wasnt sent out yet. Just wondering, because we're supposed to complete it within 3 days of receiving it in the mail. I'm getting anxious!
  4. I agree with everyone- you did your part clinically and the patient told you it was no biggie. The patient is the only one that matters. This is a learning experience, you know what to do now, and there will only be improvements from here! As new nurses, we learn each day and try to be better our next shift. You are doing great!!
  5. Congrats!! It's great to have interned on the unit you wanted! Since the director hired you based on your past performance, you just need to continue whatever you've been doing since it got you the job!
  6. hi fellow new grad residency RN! yes, there's relocation assistance. the info was given to me when i spoke to the HR person. $1500 max and you need to keep all your receipts. is there tuition reimbursement? i thought i saw that somewhere on the website but i forgot to ask.
  7. i got the call yesterday too! does anyone know about housing near the hospital? we pretty much have a month to find a place and get settled! congrats to everyone getting the call!
  8. hi zanca3, you would have to apply for endorsement which takes a bit of time because you have to submit papers, etc. here's the CA BRN link Board of Registered Nursing - Licensure by Endorsement wow, so you traveled from south carolina for the 2nd interview? thats great! my first interview lasted about 30 min i think, and then i had a second interview with the guy which lasted about 5 minutes or less! he just asked me about customer service and generic questions. i hope everything works out!
  9. My interviewer told me decisions would be made in about 3 weeks. I was caught off guard when people were getting second interviews! Good luck to everyone! Remember...the VP said we were a special group out of 2000 applicants!
  10. I'm not sure what this mean either, but that's what I'm doing. I'm just having the volunteer coordinator write a letter about my hours and what I did. Congrats!
