Cedars Sinai New Grad Feb 2021

Hello everyone! ☺️

Cedars-Sinai opened their New Grad applications for the February 2021 cohort. I opened this thread so we can keep each other updated. Who else applied? I submitted an application and wanted to see if anyone else did. Application closes once they receive 200 qualified submissions.

Same here! I was told it opened at 8am but the post was already up when I woke up around 6:30am.

Just going to leave this here for future applicants for the next cycles but: apparently the job posted around 2am and closed around 11am.

Hello, 

I will be applying for the May 2021 cohort and was wondering what types of things they consider when choosing applicants? Do they choose based on GPA? I’m assuming that this is a highly competitive program, right? 

Also, does anybody know what the starting pay is for the new grad program? 
 

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

do you know if you can choose the location that you apply for? I know there are several cedars location in LA, but do they just place you anywhere or do you choose? Thanks!

I think the dates currently listed on their sites are for the LA location/medical center. https://jobs.cedars-sinai.edu/nursing-new-grads

I saw a previous thread that was about them offering a program at the Marina Del Ray location last year but it seemed pretty random

I was reading an old thread for thire Oct 2020 cohort and Cedars reached out for interviews pretty quickly (10 days). Also, My application was updated to under consideration on the 14th. Anyone else got an update?  Hope we all hear back soon.

Mine also says under consideration. Keeping my hopes up.
