Cedars Sinai New Grad Winter 2022 Cohort

Hey guys! Starting this thread so we can all keep each other updated on the Cedars-Sinai RN Residency application which will be opening sometime after midnight tonight. This is for the Winter 2022 cohort which begins February 14, 2022. Remember to keep checking and apply as soon as it's open since they shut it off after 200 applications that meet the basic requirements. Good luck to everyone applying!

Thanks for starting this! I was thinking of doing the same. Will be hitting refresh starting at midnight. I heard that the Fall cohort in August didn't get posted until around 3am.

hi, if I am graduating in December but already have my RN license am I qualified to apply? Also, for those who already applied does your app say "submitted" or "under consideration"?

It couldn't hurt to apply. A nurse who had graduated in the year before me once told me always just apply, apply, apply even if you don't think you are "qualified" yet. I know they will ask for your license number and all certifications (like BLS, ACLS), and then there is a separate section to attach your unofficial transcripts, etc. The interviews don't happen until January, so you would be finished by then. You can attach your current transcripts for now. I'm curious how you have your license already though. Do you have a different degree, and in school for another one? You would need an ATT (authorization to test) from your school before taking the exam.

Mine says submission received so maybe I got auto rejected haha. My program is structured so that we take the NCLEX before graduation.

just checked my status, mine is also under consideration

was it always under consideration since you submitted or did it first say "submission received" then changed to "under consideration"
