CCRI Spring 2016 Applicants! Who's with me

Published

I am applying to CCRI nursing program in August for the spring. Anyone out there applying as well?

Repeat limit, not really new, but is more likely to affect you now since we've had a few semesters since spring 2015, and course age on BIOL1010. Make sure that your BIOL1010 isn't more than 5 years old.

Ok that makes sense.

how about the fall application process for evening and day students. Do we get put in separate pools?

It'll work the same way, you will have the option of ranking the four campus in the order of your preference. Then you'll have the chance to indicate whether you want all 4 campuses in play, or 3, 2, or 1. The default will be all four. If you change it from four to any other number you'll have to accept a disclaimer that by limiting the number of campuses you'll be reducing your chance of getting in.

I have a question about Hep B I'm pretty sure I've never had the shots and I know it takes a couple of months? What happens if we can't finish all our immunizations by October 21st

I think that the problem will be the size of the applicant pool. Being as that all of the prerequisites can be taken in one semester, versus the old requirements with phys where it took at least two semesters to finish, or when micro was a requirement, it use to take 3 semesters of work just to apply. That's what I mean by easier.

I_have_Answers how is it even ok to use a cummulitive gpa when I have over 100 credits from a previous degree, it's not even on the same level as having 20 credits.

Hello.

who do I contact about taking the test to opt of out the first semester of fundamentals? I know this is an option for LPNs or those who have been in another nursing school. Thank you

Eapereira, I agree with you. You should share your opinion with the nursing department.

Mariehop, contact advising and counseling.

hi everyone!

So right now I am taking anatomy and so far i have an A in it, i haven't taken the HESI yet but if i get the scores i am aiming for i should be at 180~ points. But i have a C+ in general psychology and am re-taking it in the spring! I'm really worried about not getting in because i read through other forms of people getting 190 and not getting in, but people with 160 got in. some people with 167 didn't get in over people with 160 etc etc, how do you stop stressing about it?!

Blynnn,

Don't believe everything you read.
