  1. Has anyone applied to program yet?
  2. Does anyone know when they send out the emails saying if you have been accepted or not?? I know it is still really early to be talking about it but I am thinking sometime in March????or April????
  3. Who are you taking right now for that class? When do you plan on taking your HESI exam? Yea it is stressful to think of what is necessary to get into program and how many pts will be needed. Are you getting As in your other classes
  4. Wow you are taking all 3 classes right now in one semester. Anatomy is a really hard class and I am actually taking it now. I am thinking there are going to be lots of applicants in February unfortunately and it will be harder to get into the program. If only because the population of applicants will be larger
  5. Does anyone know when the HESI exam is available in the spring? I wanted to take it in January, but I don't see a schedule posted yet? Any idea when I could take it?Also, if I wanted to take it twice, can I retake it in February and apply for the nursing program right after taking the exam? do we get score right after we take it?
  6. Ok that makes sense. how about the fall application process for evening and day students. Do we get put in separate pools?
  7. Yes thank you for all your input. i have 2 questions tho, what new restrictions would disqualify someone? U mean minimum grades in classes? also for the fall admission since I can only apply for evening how does it work? do the day applicants and night applicants get put in 2 different pools and someone with lower score in day can get in over someone with higher score in evening? can you go through the process of fall applications and how that works? thanks again
  8. I agree with the earlier comment that starting next semester there will be an influx of applicants and you will need a higher point total to get into the program than before. The fact is taking Physiology out of the equation, where students for the most part would find it hard to get an A or high grade in and having Psych, Anatomy and English count that much I feel like it's all about Anatomy. Pretty much if you get a good grade in Anatomy you will get in the program because Psych and English are 2 of the "easier" courses. Based on this let's see what happens next session but I am pretty confident that the low range for accepted students will be higher than 168.
  9. so 168 was the minimum score to get in?
  10. ok thank you...I am interested to know people that have received their acceptance emails today and what their total points were. I am thinking starting in February the minimum score to get accepted is going to rise significantly with the change in admission guidelines. Do you think that will be the case?
  11. So then for the fall evening 2016 there is no estimated number of accepted applicants? does it vary wildly year to year or is there a consistent range?
  12. You are applying for fall 2016 evening mvento? Which campus?
  13. Hi to all, Hopefully we can start this thread with people who are thinking or going to apply to the fall 2016 evening program at CCRI. When is everyone thinking of taking the HESI and what does everyone think of the new requirements and what that is going to mean for total points needed to get accepted into the program now? Does anyone know how many applicants actually get accepted into Newport and Lincoln campus?
  14. melly you know people with 120 points that got accepted into the evening program for fall 2015? I plan on applying in February for fall of 2016, how is the program going so far? anyone overwhelmed?
  15. I have answers: do you know if the same amount of students are accepted for each campus for the night program application process in February? Also, if I apply in February for nursing program can I also take the HESI in February or is there a cut off for how close to applying I can take the HESI?
