My wife, son & I.
The two Soldiers standing on opposite sides in front row were our instructors.
I introduced our guest speaker, then later received my Critical Care Nursing Course certificate.
Upon conclusion of the ceremony we stood up, did an about-face, and received a round of applause.
The 15 week course at Madigan Army Medical Center [MAMC] was very intense, which included classroom & clinical time, six exams, CEU presentation, one hour single system failure presentation, three hour three system failure, and various other graded activities. Plus, as a prerequisite we were required to complete the online Essentials of Critical Care Orientation [ECCO] course in three months.
It is very nice to be able to take 2 weeks leave before I process back in as permanent party at MAMC on ICU East for a 3 year committment. Rumor has it, in 6 months I may get PROFIS'd to a CSH Unit & deployed OCONUS for a year.
Congratulations. I have read a lot of your posts before and I have a question. I am in CRNA school in Memphis and have recently completed my packet for Commission in the Army Reserve. Is there anywhere on the internet where I can find out about whether or not I was chosen for commission? Thanks.

Hi,
Just piggybacking into the congratulation thread to Corvetteguy to respond to you.
Congratulations again CorvetteGuy!!!
dd,
I am just in the process of putting my app together but, why not call your recruiter to see what they say? My recruiter has already told me who will be handling my application once he and I are done with it and then I will be in contact with her. I've been told by someone recently commissioned that it will take months and months.

Thanks for the Kudos!
BTW, it can take 2-6 months to get back acceptance letter. Are you going to be a 66F [ANC CRNA]? If so, I can assure you they will accept you, but no way that I know of to find out on the www. They will either send you an email, snail mail, or your recruiter will let you know.
