I'm honestly not sure what is counting as my diversity.  I probably should have talked to an advisor to clarify that.   I took a 400 level medical ethics class at Towson U, a low lever theater history class at Towson and I took Spanish at CCBC 10 years ago.  I know HCC accepted the medical ethics and theater for my diversity but never asked at CCBC.

Spanish counts as a diversity credit. They just changed the criteria and I originally took philosophy as mine because at the time it counted but now that doesn’t count ? so I’m taking ethics now which is like the same damn thing ?I’m slightly bitter

I took a language course. At first they didn't want to count it so I had to complete a waiver to challenge the decision. They changed it. So I officially have all prerequisites finished but I'm worried about my C ?

You’ll probably be fine if the rest of your sciences are good! My friend got in with Cs (more than one I believe but at least one in A&P) in her sciences, but that was around 2015 so competition could’ve changed but it won’t count you out completely at all

OMG so I just looked at degree works and now I'm really freaking out.   I never took bio110 (molecules and cells).  I took A&P 1 and 2 at HCC.  That is not a requirement there.  I knew bio110 was a prereq for A&P 1 but didn't know it counted as an actual requirement for the program.  I have no idea how I missed that and its my second time applying.  Oh well now.  I guess we will see what happens.

Oh no! I hope that doesn't affect anything ?

I just want to know and be over with it already.

Same!

As long as you took a general biology course it should not matter for CCBC, they count your general biology as that. At least that’s what the advisor told me!

I took ethics Spring 2021 and they told me ethics wasn’t going to be considered a diversity course until start of fall semester so I had to sign up for another diversity course ?. I’m bitter as hell

I would be bitter too.   All of this is unnecessary complicated!

It really is! I think the 2021 applicants shouldn’t have to take a diversity course and it should go into play for 2022 applicants ?‍♀️

Because that makes any sense???? I forgot about that part. I wanted to take ethics over the Summer so it wasn’t so in the way and they said that too. I’m sorry you actually took it ?

I wouldn't have even known about the addition of the requirement had I not looked at DegreeWorks. So unfair.
