Has anyone thought about applying to the Spring LPN program as a backup? It's an evening/weekend program. I went back to my SHP application to see what else I could apply for and noticed they had a Spring cohort.

I applied for that in the Spring after I found out I didn't get into the RN program.   And I discussed it with my adviser who advised against it because he said I was so close to getting into the RN program.   I was accepted into the LPN program and ended up turning it down due to a family emergency.   But if I don't get into HCC or ccbc RN program I think I will try that again because I don't have another year to wait.   So thank you for reminding me of that.

Yes. I'm torn. If I do not get accepted this round for RN, it will be my third time applying for next fall. The LPN program only requires 500 hours of working before applying for the bridge program.

I have no idea what to do ?

You got this!!!

I emailed again asking if decisions could be coming out this week. I’m really trying to squeeze out a more definite answer out of them. “By the end of October” is way too vague and my anxiety will not allow it LOL

I also emailed them this morning.   Haven't received an answer yet.   I agree.  "By the end of October" is ridiculous.   What have they been doing for the last 8 weeks?   I'm having a panic attack!

There are moments where I think I'll get in and then other moments where I think I'm not and trying to convince myself it'll be OK and Fall gives me enough time to save money up, etc. This is torture LOL

Anyone apply to an ATB program and hear anything from them yet? Maybe that'll give us an idea of a timeline? I'm grasping at straws here if ya can't tell LOL

Yes! I honestly been telling myself I’m not gonna get in just so it doesn’t hurt as bad if I don’t ?

Would you mind sharing what your TEAS score was when you applied to the LPN program? I already took mine (should probably take it again) but I have a friend who is applying and doesn't think his TEAS is high enough for LPN.
