  1. I had an 86 on TEAS (this is a really good score actually, I was pleasantly shocked to hear this). Basically I was in a weird situation where I completely bombed my first two semesters and was expelled from ccbc a few years ago due to health reasons/not being able to show up. I had to retake a lot of my prereqs and took English 3 times (2 Fs and an A). My ccbc GPA got back up to 3.6 by the time I applied and I hadn't taken micro or A&P2 yet, however I only had 2 Bs in A&P1 and bio. SHP claims they look at the overall GPA of all coursework attempted, so that really freaked me out because I would've been at like 2.5. I got in anyway (not sure if they can check midterm grades for in progress courses? But I did well in micro and a&p2 as well). If you are enrolled in micro in the Summer and are applying for the fall, I would say you have a fair chance. I would also say it 100% wouldn't hurt to retake A&P1 though, that's really your only possible pitfall on your application due to how important A&P is in nursing. Dr. Dubowy at the Dundalk campus is amazing and made A&P 10x less scary. Best of luck to ya!
  2. They choose your schedule for you and everyone takes the same classes unless they’re repeating or something. You’ll do funds which last Spring was MW 9-12. Lab either Thursday or Friday 9-12 until clinicals which start around march I believe. Those are 6:30am-12:30pm. Health assessment was Tuesday 9 to I think 10:30 and then there’s lab either 11-12:30 or 1-2:30 I think. And professionalism runs 1 day a week from Feb to April either Monday or weds 2-4pm. Not sure if anything will change this upcoming Spring but that was the schedule last year.
  3. What responsibility form? And readiness certificate? Are you in blended and talking about the online readiness certificate? Wait did you mean 129? It doesn’t start till late February for me
  4. No problem! Yeah I would say definitely go with towson!
  5. I thought we don’t test for that until after the semester starts because it’s first semester?
  6. Hey, my primary is through gbmc and IDK if it influences time because it’s my pcp but they got me my titer results in 2 days!! So might be worth a shot to try a gbmc location if you haven’t gotten them yet, they always get my tests back to me quick.
  7. Yes. It just means you have to complete any classes you’re enrolled in now with passing grades and maintain the minimum GPA before the start of the program. For example if you were enrolled in A&P this semester and failed it, they can deny you.
  8. I would imagine so to be safe. If you already paid the fee, I don’t see the harm in filling out the form just in case. Regardless I’m pretty sure the fee in non refundable so they either keep your money and you choose here or they keep your money and you choose the other school and they give your seat up. I doubt the form changes anything if you end up changing your mind
  9. I’m hoping after the deadline for the seat fee passes on Monday they’ll send another email with more info. I’d like to know what we have to buy and what the guidelines are so I can start preparing.
  10. Orientation should explain all of this. I’ve been CPR certified before, they offer it at ccbc for like $120, I think it’s only on weekend and it takes up most of your day. They have it at a bunch of other places too maybe for cheaper even but IMO it’s just easier to go to go to ccbc because of familiarity.
  11. My GPA is ~3.6 and I got an 86 on the TEAS
  12. If anyone knows what we will have to buy for our uniforms, materials, and books please share! I know there are specific uniforms for the program but I’m wonder what we might have to buy on our own.
  13. Yep I believe it’s November 1st
  14. No worries! Here it is
