CCBC Spring 2022

Published

Hey guys! I’m starting this thread for any CCBC 2022 Spring nursing applicants. I recently submitted my application and would love to hear from others!!

So thank you @Megz0785 for the reminder to check for the seat fee. I looked at my account and there was incorrect hold which would have prevented me from registering for the Spring.

So I called the Bursar's office and went through my account error. Then I asked if she knew where seat fees would be posted if I were to be accepted in to the program. She told me it will be under Spring 2022. She said she has not seen any seat fees yet. She has also seen it posted under Fall in the past but it's pretty rare. So I'm gonna guess there has to be an option to register for Spring before a seat fee can be posted.

That was my guess too. Spring registration opens on the 18th (Monday) so it makes sense they told me early next week

So Monday seat fees could be up

Specializes in MA.

Your welcome @edtonurse.  Im glad you got that fixed before it was an issue. And thanks for the info.  That give me hope.  (I'm so grasping at straws here.  This waiting is killing me!)

If we do get accepted, when do we start registering for nursing classes? After orientation? Do we register alone and follow the sequence we have to take the classes from the RN packet? I'm so worried/confused about that haha

Hi, I applied to CCBC Spring 2022 too!  Good Luck everyone!  The wait is a killer!!!

I’m not sure how it’ll work after admission. I know they’re strict on what classes you’re allowed to take each semester. It looks like NURN 129 (professional role) NURN 153 (Fundamentals of nursing) and NURN 155 (health assessment and promotion) are taken first semester. I think my friend said when she was in it she didn’t pick her classes but I’m not sure if that was just her or everyone. I’ll have to ask if she did orientation before she was registered

Thank you so much for the help! I wasn’t sure if CCBC nursing just put people in classes since we all have to take the same

Welp turns out they register us and we have no say LOL

It’s strange to me though because there are obviously different times for classes so why not let us choose? Maybe so people can’t complain that the time they wanted is booked up and everyone is equally distributed

She also said Spring orientation wasn’t until January for her

I think the Spring 2020 thread has a lot of really good info about orientation, ordering uniforms and badges, registering for classes, etc. I’ll have to go back and see if I can find it.

Is anyone here registered for the Student Nursing Connection this semester?
