Hello Everyone,
Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.
For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).
GOOD LUCK!!!
I have not had anything posted to my account yet.
As to Corrines' statement about the TEAS exam, I did buy the online TEAS exams and found them very useful and eye opening. I highly recommend them. I think they really helped my placement. I actually did better on the real exam than on the online practice exams but they definitely helped. For the topics where I was weak I went to Khanacademy.org and refreshed in the weak areas. Anyhow, just my two cents.

Thank you for that information! :-) I'm curious to know if there are a lot of helpful websites to serve as a guide to the test. The breakdown from ATI isn't very helpful because it just refers you to their study guide which as I said before... is useless. I can't imagine $35 being much of a waste from the online tests plus it could really help finding other online guides to study from.
I definitely can see how the national percentage is like 64% because I found the actual test difficult. I remember only having around 5-8 Anatomy based questions which is ridiculous considering how much they cram into our heads during A&P, but then I remind myself that the test is a national entrance exam so what we don't learn, someone else in another state may be required to.
so if your simon changed to decision made, SHP accepted do you think that means I got in? I am so unsure and wish the letters were coming sooner... gwen jones from essex said she is pretty sure thats what that means but I dont trust it.. any thpoughts?
LOL Gwen Jones is useless!!! "decision made, SHP accepted" means your in. She is an idiot. :sstrs:
All of our classes including dosage will be available for registration at orientation. The classes that are listed on SIMON are NOT your only choices! You can "register" for the classes now but they are not effective until the SHP signs off on your registration and that won't happen until orientation.
anyone else out there get into catonsville day? I would liked that someone made a facebook page for the essex program, I think that would be awesome for each program... sadly I am one of the few who are still holding out against facebook.. but maybe i would change my mind:-) I am really going to need study groups! --freaking out:-)
