Stay away from these guys, they're the biggest scammers in the business. My friends convinced me to go there, despite my intuition. What a scam.
Good luck. Make sure you study hard and prepare. I would suggest you really study hard and practice questions like crazy!!!!!
Do you know if we could take the Toronto School of Health to court to return our money? I got my results yesterday and failed. I am so upset because I am new immigrant and don't have a lot of money.
We should contact govermnt and close them down. I looked if I could take another preparation course and found www.tsofh.com under kijiji because it said it was nursing review centre. ITs the TOronto School of Health under a differnt website!! We need to start a group, because they are opening different websites to trick people. I am need to study everyday, its my second time failing
Okay thank you.
I was actually going to sign with them before, but for some reason I decided not to
My clinical instructor told me to go the Toronto School of Nursing, as she has been sending students there for quite sometime, with all successful results, so I might give it a go I just don't have the money right now. My friend just went there and passed, which really made me feel depressed. I was also told that http://www.primededucation.ca/ is pretty good, but I think thats more of a quick review
I'll tell you this though, I'm going to do more self study this time, and really focus on the nursing competencies that I didn't do well in. I also bought the Mosbys and CNA guide. Lets see how it goes, I have to just get back into the swing of things
So which is better the Toronto School of Health or Toronto School of Nursing preparation course? newnursejoan & FaithE. have negative comments on these!
I took the one at the Toronto School of Nursing after failing twice and just got the good news I PASSED!!! I also took the one at George Brown College, but its only 2 days. They are very thorough and have a massive test bank that corresponds to the modules covered. I did study like crazy though on my own, cause I didn't want to take any chances. I honestly don't think I could have done it without them. Me and my friend live slightly outside Toronto and would car pool everyday and its right downtown. We both passed. :yeah::yeah:They also cost 750 whereas the other school I think costs a thousand. Check them out at http://www.torontoschoolofnursing.com. You have to put the effort into though and attend all the classes, cause theres lots of content. Good luck with your choice. Either way, I'm sure you'll do fine

I have decided to take the CRNE review at Toronto School of Nursing. Thanks for the info. Can you email me [email protected] so I can get more information because you look like a Ryerson graduate and I'm a Ryerson graduate too. Thanks.

You can't take the Toronto School of Health to court over your negative experience because they have disclaimers all over their site saying that they do not guarantee anything. There have been numerous posts about their shady activity over the last two years. I personally have done several hours of research on them and posted all of my findings in several other threads. They are not accountable and are not ethical. Their primary raison d'etre is to separate desperate people from their money and judging from the posts here and on the October 5 thread, they're VERY successful at that! I would say that the posts from people who used their "service" and failed are running about 10 to 1 against the ones who passed.

If you can find a review course that is affiliated with a legitimate, recognized and accredited educational facility, by all means give them your cash. In the course of my research, the Toronto School of Nursing certainly appeared to be on the up-and-up. As with everything, let the buyer beware. Use those critical thinking skills we all need to be good nurses and consider all the facts before jumping in with both feet. you have too much invested in your education to waste your time on something that seemed too good to be true. Read the fine print. Read it out loud if you have to, but make sure you know what you're getting into!
A word of advice....make sure you really cover all your bases well and study hard. Dedicate at least 6 weeks of regular study. I've read so many posts over the last year here: "I didn't really study, I was working, didn't take it seriously..."
Those people regret it when they aren't successful. The exam is not terrible, but you need to be well prepared. Is it enough just to read the CNA guide? No. Just Mosby's? No. That will not ensure you have covered everything. Read both and then some.
First and foremost, remember the nursing process and your ABCs. This will help you get through the exam. Good luck.
