Note that the OP was planning to go for a BSN so yes they would be eligible at that time. I went this route, ADN then BSN then MS-CRNA, then DNSc/PhD so yes it is a valid route. If the the OP had some other "appropriate baccalaureate degree" (as considered by the individual program- if not granting a MSN) then the BSN would not be needed at some programs. Best of luck to all
Some schools require a BSN, which you can get after your ADN, no problem. Some schools will allow an ADN if you have a BS degree in a "related field", like biology or chemistry or something like that. If you need to start working right away the ADN might be the better choice. You can start working --in an ICU if you can-- and then to an RN to BSN program.
Congrats on obtaining your CRNA? I am thinking about becoming a CRNA and would like to know if you are already an Np can you become a CRNA? I am graduating with my bachelors degree next month. I am applying to get into an ICU/ CCU in a Tertiary Hospital and having a hard time getting a job in an ICU setting to get my experience in an ICU/CCU Setting.:)
That's what I did. Paramedic to ADN....starting working ICU and did RN to BSN, applied to CRNA school.....got in.Graduate in 4 months....ugh that perverbial light at the end of the tunnel is in sight.
From beginning to end, how many years did it take you to get to this point, and at what age did you start the process. Thanks! I'm planning a similar route.

right now i'm in an ADN program for nursing and was wondering if I could still pursue going for my CRNA if I get an ADN and then transfer to a BSN program.
