QuoteWhen David Priess was a CIA officer, he traveled to Houston, he recalls, to brief former President George H.W. Bush on classified developments in the Middle East.
It was part of a long tradition of former presidents being consulted about, and granted access to, some of the nation's secrets.
Priess and other former intelligence officials say Joe Biden would be wise not to let that tradition continue in the case of Donald Trump.

When he leaves office, can ex-President Trump be trusted with America's national security secrets?

I take some comfort in that I don't think he can remember them, or that he even knows he is the President.
I would love to know what sources do you use for your information?
Either you are deliberately inflammatory or your assessment skills re the news are compromised by your republican mindset.
I read about six different publications daily just so I can evaluate the stories and cross reference their validity. I also have a few selected journalists that I follow daily and that was after reading over a period of time, many of their stories and verifying that they were well researched and truthful.
You should try it.

Just my opinion based on observation.
I would love to improve my assessment skills. What publications and sources would you recommend I use?

These are the publications I read almost daily in some form or the other. I begin with Huffpost for headlines and then move on to the BBC for a brief synopsis and then to the Washington Post, New York Times and Guardian for more in depth. After which would be Politico and Slate for any additional. During the day it would be Reuters for consultation. Every three days and the weekends I would read the Atlantic and New Yorker for larger in depth articles.
That's how I get my context to be able to judge any story for validity and for reference to the daily news.
I visit same sites to check information, along with MSM: NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, Politifact, FactCheck.org, AP Fact Check, CDC, Reuters. Newspapers: USA Today, LA Times, Chicago Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Times-Picayune are frequent stops along with my daily local paper Philadelphia Inquirer.

I have relatives in Philly. Love that city. Incredible food scene. You can get anything there. And so much to see and do, in the city and out. The architecture of the houses and buildings in the old German areas are amazing. Did a few semesters at Haverford and that's a stunning area. Probably IMO the best city in America. So European especially in the Old City.
