When I saw that Torrence Memorial had closed their applications to their New Grad program starting in March 2011 I realized we needed a new grad 2011 thread! The 2010 thread was a great place to ask questions and get answers about upcoming new grad opportunities. So let's make this thread the same. :)
First off, When did you graduate?

Dameron Hospital has a Versant Residency New Grad Program
But it says applications process TBA
Any old new grads out there? How long have you been looking for a job?
are the new grad positions at UCSD first come first serve? I just applied today...
No, as long as you get your application in by the deadlines you are considered with everyone else. Then he first step is to get through the initial screening which could take a while so be patient and keep checking your application status on line. Good Luck!
I went to Mount St. Mary's College (a private college that offers both ADN and BSN programs...very exspensive)
Anyhow I took the ADN degree, graduated in December, didn't take the NCLEX til June. I applied online to a few Versant programs and only got called to interview for one. I got hired the next day wooo wooo..anyhow, I am enrolled for the RN to BSN program online with Western Govenors University. I recommend it because you can work at your own pace which includes husteling through...http://www.WGU.edu
I have many class mates who also got jobs with an ADN degree..but no joke it is difficult. I think it helped that I had listed on my resume that I was currently enrolled in the RN to BSN program, but they didn't ask about it in the interview. My fellow classmates that got jobs didn't get into a Versant program, but went in and applied in person to smaller community hospitals like Arcadia and Monterey Park. My advice is not to give up the search, enroll in RN-BSN proram, and apply EVERYWHERE on line and/or at the hospital.
