  5. Hi nurse! I am a new grad. I was just offered an Charge Nurse position at a convalescent hospital for weekends only and to do 16 hrs per day for two different facilities (work 8hrs at one then travel to the next for the next 8hrs.) They offered $22/hr, is that reasonable? I don't even know if they will pay times half for the over time (I will ask.) let's say they don't pay over time, should I ask for $24./hr!?

  7. waves327, I saw a few RN positions open and was wondering about the hiring process. This is my understanding of the hiring process, first, you mail in application, then they call you to go to test day which is an panel interview. What types of questions do they ask you???

Gastric and Nasogastric tube feeding Skilled at Tracheotomy Care Catheter and suctioning skills Charting and documentation of patient care. Administration of medication and injections. Clinical Rotation Completed over 1,000 hours at acute facilitie (4 different hospitals) ???????? Please help me because I need something that will stand out!
  10. trinnylax0484, I had my school clinical experiences and hours on my old resume but an critique told me that it doesn't count as experience, so that's why I took it out. Please Correct me if I am Wrong. Would it be better for me to put it back on? I have Phlebotomy work history, does that count?
