When I saw that Torrence Memorial had closed their applications to their New Grad program starting in March 2011 I realized we needed a new grad 2011 thread! The 2010 thread was a great place to ask questions and get answers about upcoming new grad opportunities. So let's make this thread the same. :)

Has anyone gotten any calls from UC Davis for the new grad postions? The PICU position says interview and the birthing center still says routed. Has anyone been offered an interview for either yet??
I applied for the birthing center and the status is still routed for that group of applicants. I have not received a call for an interview yet...keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi All! I went to the open house. If you have not been to Ukiah before, it is a VERY quant town. The hospital itself is small but the staff are really warm and the versant program is a great opportunity. The attire was business casual- some were in suits. They had a 30 minute slideshow, then you break off into groups for tours and have "circle time" where you introduce yourself and they ask regular intro questions (why you chose to be a nurse, why do you wanna work here etc) There were about 25 -30 people in our group. they are hiring for 14 Med Surg positions and 2 ED positions. They will be offering tours for the next two weeks and then notifying those selected for interviews on or near May 4th.

my statues is the same for both. i'll try calling them today and finding out more
The status for UC Davis is generic to all applicants. Mines says contacted for interview, but that is not specific to my application. Good luck everyone :)
