Hello everybody I have a question for the nurses that had passed the LVN nclex exam. Does your name apear on the board first before you recieve the letter from the mail?
Can somebody give me some info I am going crazy of waiting. I felt like I failed coz I have been checking bon online and my name is not on it. I have taken the exam 15 Sept. I felt like there is no hope anymore.
Hi Superkyx,
I never received an envelope with results. Just my RN certificate about one month after I tested. I received my results online at 0200 about 3 days after I tested and my actual license card about 4 days later. Since you just tested today, you may have to wait until Monday for your results online. I'll be waiting to hear the good news.
.I did Suzanne's study plan , went in did all 265 questions and came out with mixed feelings .
have you checked the online BON within the 4 weeks period? cuz i have taken my exam a week ago, cannot find my name on BON site, and i took the whole 265 questions.
by the way, congratulations!!!:balloons: :balloons:
Not sure where any of you came up with the four week deadline for finding out if you passed or not, there is no such thing.
If you do not have a SSN#, then you will be waiting about two and a half weeks if in the US, and about four if out of the country.
For those of you that have a SSN#, the average wait time is ten days, soem do find out as early as three days, but can be one month or longer. Depends on when they get a completed file on you. Remember that CA will permit a grad of a CA program to test before they receive the final transcripts from the school.

i had everything before i took the test. BON-ca said everything is complete. i have ssn# as well. now im thinking i really didnt make it... now, im willing to try everything that will make me ace the test:P
need help and guidance ms suzanne for it, as i have read lotsa post about yer plan, i have to give it a try:P
may i ask as well, after the initial plan, how do i continue? (suzanne's test plan)
Even afier verifying that her file was complete a friend waited 4 weeks to hear she passed the NCLEX. For some reason her fingerprints had not been transmitted to the board. She spoke to her evaluator who miraculously tracked this down and she was on the website the next day. Similar delays occur if your transcript hasn't arrived. If you have an SSN#, are not waiting on a visa and went to school in CA make sure you don't wait for more than a week to call the BON. Something is missing from your file and you won't get a license until you fix it! Good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everybody, I finished my nursing course in Asia and I took the NCLEX RN thru CAlifornia failed twice. My concern is how may times is the limit for failure before CA Board of nursing prevents an examinee to retake the NCLX RN??? I have been browsing the internet but cannot find any answer. Some say after you failed 3times the board will require you to get a refresher course in one of the universities here in USA. Is this true? or an old rule?.
Please help thanks.

Hey Corpsman,
That's right. Don't lose hope. From what I gather the BVNPT is a lot slower than the BRN at posting results. I took the Psych Tech boards 25y ago and it took weeks then and it still takes weeks. The BRN is quick. I tested on July 10, 2006 and my results were online on the 13th.
Hang in there.
