California NCLEX results

Hello everybody I have a question for the nurses that had passed the LVN nclex exam. Does your name apear on the board first before you recieve the letter from the mail?

Can somebody give me some info I am going crazy of waiting. I felt like I failed coz I have been checking bon online and my name is not on it. I have taken the exam 15 Sept. I felt like there is no hope anymore.

As everybody knows, patience is a virtue .... but hey, don't know if that would apply to all NCLEX takers... lol

You could check your name on the BON site numerous times and get really frustrated, freaked out and paranoid for not seeing your name there yet. Don't worry, you haven't been alone .... everybody's been there, done that. But if it's any consolation to you , you may have PASSED but not see your name on the website and there are several reasons why. So hang in there, just wait for your result by post ..... then maybe ... just maybe you'll find your name on the website's registered list a few days or weeks after.

the longest waiting time is 2 weeks.i received mine exactly 11 days after my test(RN).keep your fingers crossed.good luck to you.

Finally, after 14 agonizing days! I received my results.... THANK GOD!!!! I passed!!! oooohhhoooo!!!!

Imagine the despair when the 4 week limit had come and gone and yet no letter not even a sign.Franctic and scared to even call the CA BON, I wait.

I did Suzanne's study plan , went in did all 265 questions and came out with mixed feelings .

After 5weeks/35 days I finally got saying I had passed.

My husband had just came home for lunch and we both went to the mail panand retrevied the letter at the same time.I nervously openendit just read the first line and then the letter fell to the floor with me falling to my knees crying and thanking God and Suzanne .

I PASSED! hIP hIP hIP hIP hip HOO-RAY!!!!!:monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance:

The waiting is agonising even traumatic at times but still does not take away from the joy and celebration of knowing you've pass.:monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance:

To everybody thank you very much for sharing your experiences at this thread. I feel like you guys understand every bit of feelings that I have. It's been two weeks have passed and I said to myself I am done checking my name through the board of nursing online because there is no records found everytime I checked. I feel like I have failed and I have to start over again. I just can't bare to it. I studied for a month and I even payed 300 dollars to go to a review school called CSHS. The doctor who was teaching that class that If I pass all the test questions they have with a 60 percent for each subject I can pass the NCLEX. I have scored over 95% all the time. I just can't do that all over again. :(

corpsman don't lose hope, you won't see your name on the web, you have to wait your results first via mail then they'll ask you to pay the liscense fee then your name will show up ... hang in there... i took my test sept 14 then i got my mail sept 28... just keep prayin.. god bless you...
