Take it from me -forget re-scoring. You will only end up the loser. Its as if TOEFL dare you to a rescore and gives you an even lower grade and takes your money. Happened to me twice. I suggest you do the IELTS. Its better peace of mind.

I plan to do the IELTS in July. I dont think i did soo well on the last TOEFL-IBT and therefore not giving it a moments wait.I'm doing IELTS and get on with the procedurals for the Visascreen. Thanks to everyone who gave their experience and opinions.

For a minute there I thought I was the only one with this problem. I like you have passed the nclex, sat Toefl IBT x2 had scores of 98/97 respectively but failed Speaking with 22/24. I have decided to give TOEFL IBT a third try this Satrurday 23rd,and hope I am successful if not I will move to do the IELTS. What I have done differently is joined an English class. Let me know the results.

Hi, I am a foregn trained nurse who has a NMC letter but is having a hard time getting supervised placement.Can anyone suggest ways and means to go through this as the decision letter will be cancelled out in Jan,08.

Hi , I know how you feel I sat nclex recently, agonized over the fact that I got all 265 questions and found out weeks later I passed so hang in there. Just remember everyday that goes by your getting closer to your goal of being an RN .

Imagine the despair when the 4 week limit had come and gone and yet no letter not even a sign.Franctic and scared to even call the CA BON, I wait. I did Suzanne's study plan , went in did all 265 questions and came out with mixed feelings . After 5weeks/35 days I finally got saying I had passed. My husband had just came home for lunch and we both went to the mail panand retrevied the letter at the same time.I nervously openendit just read the first line and then the letter fell to the floor with me falling to my knees crying and thanking God and Suzanne .
