Hi hanna. Did you go to that review center? I called the BRN already and they said they don't have anything under your name and birthday. I'm so sorry, I really wanted to help you, but that's all I can do for you. If I'm there in the Philippines, I can maybe encourage and support you to demand explanation from that scam of a review center. It will be good if they stop what they are doing, so that no more people will be victimized.

I would be surprised if the BRN would say anything to you as they will have to be aware of confidentiality. They really need to contact the BRN themselves and discuss this with them

i did call them because i really want to help her, they only ask for her full name and birthday ... so that they can look it up in their files ... i did not ask for anything confidential, i just wanted to know if they recieved her application because she really needs a confirmation/closure/assurance ... i have been to her situation, and i understand how she feels, and i know how expensive it it to call international from the philippines ... so i just used my cellphone, i did not mind using my minutes, because i have a lot of roll over anyways, i just wanted to help ... and i just told the BRN that i am calling for Hanna because she could not afford to make an international call, and they just ask for her birthday and the spelling of her full name ... and that's it

i know a lot of my classmates in the philippines, who ask their friends or relatives here in the US to call for them ... because it is very expensive to make an international call from the philippines, and putting them on hold for a long time, may cause the line to break ... i have experienced that before when i was in the philippines and it cost me thousands of pesos in my phone bill ...

i just used my cellphone to call the BRN, i did not mind using my minutes because i have a lot of roll over anyways, and i just want to help her the only way i know how ... so i called the BRN and i told them that i am calling for Hanna ... and the BRN just ask for the spelling of her full name and her birthday ... i don't think the BRN would mind it, because i did not ask for any confidential matter ... i just wanted to know if they recieved it, i did not ask for any detailed information in her file, in fact i am the one who provided the name and birthday ...

i just wanted to help, and that's all i can do ... i know how she feels, and i know she just needs an assurance/confirmation/ or any real information ... because obviously that review center is pulling a scam ... and i hope they don't do it to more people ... because hanna just wasted one year of waiting for nothing ... who knows, she could have passed the nclex by now if she did not go through that review center ...

i just wish she can have justice, and be able to move on from this

if i were in your situation, i would ask that review center to call the BRN using their phone, and make sure they dial the right number ... but with the time difference, i don't know if that review center will be open at the time the BRN is open here ... i would suggest to call the +19163223350, that's what i use to call the BRN ... but that would mean you have to call around 1am-7am philippines time ... and im sure that review center is close that time ... another suggestion would be ... ask the review center to load your cellphone with enough credit, for you to make the call yourself, if they are not guilty then they will give you the load(for your cellphone), that's the least they could do for taking your money and making you wait for one year ...

goodluck ...

i just endorsed my PN license to CA from another state and it only took about 6-8 weeks. i just received my approval yesterday :) you should really call and see what is going on, especially if you've waited an entire year. something is up there.

hi guys. i really hope someone can help me with my dilemma.. here goes:

i submitted my application to the cali bon on jan 9, 2009. my school sent my tor abt a week after. on jan 20, 2009 i received a letter from the board requesting me to submit a copy of my phil nursing license and clinical (rle tor), i sent them an email explaining to them abt my lack of license (i flew to the us right after my grad on mar 08, got married on jun 08, filed a petition on sept 08, waiting for my adjustment of status - cant leave us for local boards on nov 08) and they said there is no need for a license since im already here in the us. so i just sent them copies of my passport (with my visa and exit/entries to the us). i asked my school to send them the rle thru fedex (attn to the license analyst who requested it). i tracked it online, it was 'rdelivered on mar 09, 2009. i called the board mid of march, they said they're still waiting for the rle. told them it was delivered already on mar 09. they said its probably being evaluated already. i called again yest apr 2, they said they're still waiting for my rle. c'mon, it was delivered to their ofc on mar 09! obviously, it was misplaced and they're not admitting it. i hate waiting for them to finally admit it's lost and would like to send them another copy (despite the addtl expenses). but this time, id like to have an exact address and contact name and number of the authorized recipient to avoid another case of misplaced mail. so, where do i send it this time to ensure the proper and timely receipt of my rle?? help??? thanks!!! pls email me at - id appreciate it.

mod note. as per terms of service please do not post email addresses

i sent you an email:)

Be aware that they may still have issues if you haven't taken NLE. We have had other members post that they have had problems because they hadn't sat NLE and the BRN wouldn't accept a letter saying because they moved to the US.

thanks bummer83.. i received an email (but with a different name on it) and if it was from you, many thanks again!

re the NLE issue, how can we be assured they're really considering our application despite the lack of a local license if they dont tell us so? because honestly, im already contemplating on applying for a license in ohio. i just didn't want to spend another $500-800 (cgfns ces, application fee, biometrics, etc) knowing that cali is processing my application and might issue the eligibility w/in the month or so. :(
