Hello everyone! One of the greatest thing that could happen to me just happened on February 27, 2017 at 6:38pm: I am one of the few lucky students to be selected in to Cabrillo's Nursing Program starting Fall 2017!! Many schools generally use two selection process: GPA + Entrance exams scores(ATI TEAS, HESI, and other entrance tests) or random lottery. In my opinion, random lottery is the most difficult method of selecting students versus GPA + Entrance Exam scores. Unfortunately, Cabrillo College Nursing Program is one of the many nursing programs that use random lottery. However, I am very fortunate and blessed to be a soon-to-be nursing student and I can not wait to meet other nursing students from Cabrillo College.
My main reason for posting this is because I want to be very well prepared for my 1st semester in the nursing program. I really want to know all kinds of ways how nursing students learn in their lecture classes so may be I can learn as well and implement some of these strategies in my first semester. Any other suggestions, learning methods, and other study tools are greatly appreciated!
